Rofl. Gibbs ran a veer offense out of a flex bone most of the night. The QB reads the defense and either hands off to the FB or runs it himself. Very different from QB sneak. I bet this morning the QB wishes he wouldn't have went to mid field pre game for 15 mins staring down Clinton. It kinda back fired on him.I don't think he had many d lineman scared..lol

Clintons Defense probably had a little to do with the out come. Gibbs 37 rushes 54 yards!

Problem is L.C. knows how to word it to screw the kid. The last line of letter read he is on a Discipline plan. The L.C hand book says you can be placed on a plan after one tardy. They can use that wording to stop all athletes from being able to play after leaving. I really just cant understand how any coach or principal can do what they did and still say they are in education to help the kids.

Just to set you straight on the facts! You make it seem like it didnt take coaching to get Karns where they are this year. Here are the facts. Karns QB had never played a down of QB in his life before this season.Four of the top 5 receiver had never caught a pass at the varsity level.Three of them didnt even play football last year. Four of the five offensive lineman had zero offensive line experience. One had never played football in his life, two others had never played a down of o line in there life.Karns top returning running back missed the first two games and was not completly healthy until week 5. The Defense Friday night had seven new starters on the field from last year;One d lineman played soccer his whole life and never suited up for football until this year, another was a back up linebacker last year that had never played line in his life. One new linebacker, one new cornerback, a strong safety that didnt even play football last year; not to mention a new punter, new field goal kicker and a new guy doing kick offs. Sounds like a dream line up thrown in the coaches lap. No coaching needed there, Yes a lot of good athletes, but it is easy to see you know nothing about the program. If you did you would have not wasted your time posting the above statement. It was evident to everyone who had a football player at Karns that this years staff spent about 300 percent more time with these kids than the staff from the last few years. Hard work by the players or coaches will not be a problem moving forward in the program. Go Beavers!

Im not so sure about your hopes and dreams. Karns does loose 23 Seniors, 15 of which get meaningful playing time, but next years team will have at least 14 to 15 seniors in starting positions, and they are all getting a lot of meaningful playing time now. We are reloading not rebuilding.

Thanks for checking in. The Karns kid was released to play this week. I believe his parents are going to have him take the weak off, but he will be back.

I believe that it is very accurate to say that he leaves players in to pad stats. Why else would you have him in at that point, but with that being said i dont see anything wrong with it.Those kids give four years to the program and if by playing him a little longer to pad his stats gets him a few more offers or better offers then he should do it. I am a Karns parent and have no problem with it. It is our job to stop Mobley and we did not.I dont think that the statement from Presby was inaccurate. Your Coach will leave him in to pad his stats and by doing so he is doing right by his kids. Good luck the rest of the year.

HTV, you must have left the Powell/Karns game early. Mobley played until there was 7:30 left in the game.At that point Powell was already ahead 40-7. His last play was a 2nd down on Powells 16 yard line. On that play, a QB keeper towards the Karns side line, a lb from Karns got hurt. I think that made Powells coach think about the chance of injury and he pulled Mobley. Powell ran 9 offensive plays after he exited the game.You are also correct that the majority of the Powell Starters were off the field when Karns scored at the end.
