No offense....but....that is a weak schedule. There are only 4 playoff wins from this past season on that schedule and that is by 2 teams (West Carroll and Peabody who will both be down next fall compared to this year). The only team on your schedule that will be better next year is Humboldt (and that is only if their new coach doesn't waste the talent). How many seniors are you guys losing this year? What positions have to be filled? If yall are going to be young next year then your schedule will help with that atleast.

We will destroy West Carroll. West Carroll will throw the towel in at half time. 41-6 will be as close as it gets.

I haven't posted in awhile because I have been out of town on business. I told you guys my Mustangs would destroy your Lions. Dresden is scared of us and proved me right. We are going to beat West Carroll so bad tonight that they are going to dismantle the football program and start a boys soccer fall league. But to your game...I see Trenton winning this one by simply outscoring Dresden. Dresden's offense is definitely overrated due to a soft offensive line. There will be no big long runs by Raymer in this one due to Peabody's speed. Dresden's defense will play well enough to hold Peabody to a range of 28-31 which is too much for Dresden's offense to overcome. Peabody is just too fast and well coached. Dresden just doesn't have the playmakers to keep up. Trenton beats Adamsville next week too to advance to Cookeville.

Most of Dresden's fans will be leaving at halftime to go eat a late supper since they will be losing so badly. Get ready for Warbritton to run all over you guys. You may not have many defensive starters left after our offensive line gets done with you. We are going to shut your little Raymer down like a Detroit car factory.

Champion 1....get ready...you better hope you (West Carroll) lose to Union City (which you probably will) before you meet us because we are going to absolutely destroy you. If you are not from West Carroll then too bad cause I'm still talking to you because you talked about them. I speak the truth...there are only 3 teams in 1A with a shot at the gold ball: Us, South Pitt, and Gordonsville. We are praying that West Carroll has to play us again. It is going to be embarrassing for the War Eagles or Whimp Eagles...whatever you call them. Mustangs are rolling tonight and over anyone else that puts on a uniform. Bye suckers

Don't worry about what I do for a living. When you have the education I have you can do what you want. You guys are clueless. 1A is stronger than 2A? What planet are you from? I am a Huntingdon fan but I'm not crazy. 2A is much tougher than 1A. 1A has only 3 teams that have a chance to win the state championship: Us, South Pitt, and Gordonsville. Bet I won't be proven wrong....see if one of those 3 doesn't win it. In 2A you have about 8 teams that have a shot at winning the title: Boyd Buch., FCS, Grace, Dresden, Humboldt, Peabody, Westwood, and Adamsville. I would rather only have to beat 1 to 2 really good teams than 5-7. That is why I am hoping our kids finish this thing out this year and dont come up short like last year. Looks like we are going to be in Quad 4 which is a cake walk to the semi's. Go ahead and say West Carroll and Union City....waste of time....West Carroll wants no part of us in the playoffs. I speak the truth....wait and see. I don't lie.

I have been to a couple of our practices this week and it has reassured me that we are going to flatten Dresden. We are so focused and ready for this game. A friend of mine from Dresden said that you guys aren't fully healthy and that your practices haven't been all that great.....sucks for you but don't start making excuses because we are going to win and it will not be close. I can tell from the posts on here that the Dresden fans do not have the confidence we have here in Huntingdon. Dresden you better pray West Carroll beats McKenzie or your playoff Quad will have a seismic shift. My Mustangs will not lose another game this year. There are only 2 teams left that have a chance of beating us: Gordonsville and South Pittsburg. I smell a gold ball in the air.

If Dresden wins it is obvious they are district champs finishing with the only perfect district record. If Huntingdon wins and West Carroll beats McKenzie then Dresden is district champs because it will be a 3-way tie for first and Dresden will have the better overall record. If Huntingdon wins and McKenzie beats West Carroll then Huntingdon is district champs because Huntingdon and Dresden will be the only two teams with a single loss in the district and Huntingdon would have the head-to-head match-up win over Dresden. West Carroll cannot win the district title. Since I know we are going to beat Dresden I am also cheering on McKenzie to beat West Carroll. I feel like both are going to happen. Especially us beating Dresden. We will win by no less than 3 TD's. Dresden is too slow and has played a soft schedule. They are fixing to get the hammer put on them.

We will play with all our heart and ability tonight just like we always do. We aren't overlooking Milan. We are one of very few teams that can say we have defeated Milan in the last decade. We got screwed last year in the quadrants but this year it won't matter what quadrant we are put in we are headed to Cookeville. And we aren't going to get embarrassed like Dresden did when we go.

We aren't getting stomped by any team. If and that is a big if, Milan were to upset us, so be it. But come Oct. 26th Dresden is in for a beating. I'm not bragging I'm just stating facts. I said the same thing last year and you saw what happened. (STOMPED!) Dresden knows they can't beat us cause they aren't physical enough. Dresden you better worry more about Riverside because they are going to give you all you want tonight. They are fighting for a playoff spot and are hungry. I know your players aren't hungry cause they are 7-0. 7-0 creates complacency. It looks to me that your offense is getting worse with the number of points you are putting up each week. I guarantee we hold you to 2 TD's or less and you will not keep us under 5 TD's. I think Gleason is going to give you all you want too. They are faster than you and look to be just as big upfront. I hope you guys are undefeated when you roll into Carroll Co. in a few weeks....it will make it even more pleasing to break your hearts by ruining your perfect record. I bet we get further in the playoffs than you guys too. Wait and see.

I saw Riverside play my Mustangs at the first of the year and their problem was they never really stopped us and instead they just tried to outscore us. Their QB is the best I have seen all year. He is going to put some numbers up on Dresden because the Lions don't seem to have much of a pass defense but a descent run defense. I think the Lions will prevail but it would not surprise me for this game to be close or maybe even an upset take place. But it won't matter because come Week 10 the Lions will be coming to H-town to see how real football is played in West TN. When we beat Milan tomorrow night we are going to destroy McKenzie and Dresden and be the District Champs yet again. Someone is going to want to say it will be a 3- way tie for first with us, Dresden, and West Carroll but we will be 9-1 and Dresden will have atleast one loss too but having beaten them head-to-head we pass them and West Carroll already has 2 losses so we pass them too. First round bye and homefield 2nd and 3rd rounds here we come. And West Carroll better hope they don't have to meet up with us in the playoffs because not only will we end their season we are also going to embarrass them for the fluke win they got on us a few weeks ago.

Lose to McKenzie???? 0% chance of that happening. Their defense will never stop our offense so if push comes to shove we will just outscore them in a shootout.

6-4....ha....keep dreaming. At WORST 7-3 and at BEST 9-1. Milan will beat us with only Camden and Union City having a chance of staying in the game with us and beating us.

Dresden better get in all the WEAKley teams they can before playing us week 10. Being in the Henry Co. jamboree isnt going to help you stop the Stangs! Your kids know they can't beat us. Your defense is so over-rated. Look at the points we have put up the last 3 years on you guys(41,28,42)....good grief.....tackle somebody. Anyone can stop West Carroll and Gleason.

Have they started the process of finding a coach yet? Any names being thrown around?

We had as many wins as you guys in less games and we destroyed you with us being in a lower classification. We both lost to the State Champions in our classification. Don't see how we underachieved. You guys just overachieved in the playoffs. You will be lucky to go 6-4 this year and make it to the second round of the playoffs. I bet we have more wins, go further in the playoffs, and win the district this fall. Write it down lion cubs.

Do they hand out Silver State Runner-Up rings in Dresden, McKenzie, and Westview???? We only hand out the gold ones.

I will throw a name out there to you guys. He is the defensive coordinator at Dresden. Last name is Hodge. We want him out of our district (I'm from Huntingdon). They went to the Class 2A State Championship this year. Dresden is a different team with him coaching them. His brother just took over the head coaching job there. They turned a 1-19 team into the Class 2A Finalists in just 2 years. I don't know him personally but have heard alot of good things about him and his family. May be hard to get him to leave coaching with his brother though. You will not find anyone with more passion for kids and football than this guy.

Melrose would have beaten Maryville that one year if they would have quit throwing up bomb after bomb and instead handed the ball off to the stud they had a TB that ended up playing at Miami. Poor coaching and play calling....what's new.

Quit whining Dresden. You guys had a great season. You want to brag at the next level then go beat their butts this fall if either of you get there. FCS people just need to worry about their own team. Enjoy your season but it will be even harder winning it next season than it was this past season. Neither of you could have beaten us this fall and Dresden had their chance. Good luck in your offseasons. You will both need it.
