BC/DF never mentioned 6 yrs ago. He stated along time ago. Ice Cream Man mentioned 6 yrs ago and I am pretty sure that was just picking a number out of the air. I doubt he or anyone else would have imagined someone trying to bring up a supposed recruiting issue from a CPA dad from 2003/04.
kbrks,
Using devil fanatic/UCsportsfan's supposed recruitment of his son should not be used as part of your review of "architecture" of the current staff at CPA. You were the coach when this supposedly happened. Just stating a fact.
The difference is I "heard" it from him. Just didn't think our coaches would want injury status posted on here. Also it is not a "fact" when you here it from students.
I don't know if he will play or not. I do know you can't listen to everything high school kids say. I do know he is not scheduled for surgery and he does not play baseball and never has for CPA. I have heard that he is playing basketball this year. CPA4Ever you should never "assume" anything especially when coming from high school kids.He is a very tough kid so you never know.
That is correct. Only the top 2 in each district qualify for the playoffs. Classification does not matter. If CPA happens to beat Pearl Cohn and East Lit. but loses their other games and ends up 4-6 they probably would not make the playoffs. That makes these first 2 wins really important. I do think it is a shame that a win against a out of state team is just as important as a district win. The first thing they look at for wildcard slots is overall record. The quality of competition means nothing.
CPA's website says the game starts at 7:00.
I would never want to question your infinite knowledge, but CPA and Fort Campbell websites both show game time to be 7:30. Maybe you are just trying to get the CPA fans to be on time?
This could be a shoot out. Don't know much about Fort Campbell except they have won back to back State Championships. Both teams appear to be able to score a lot of points. Should be an exciting game.
Actually CPA does not have all their players healthy. They have two kids that had season ending injuries before the season ever started and lost another for the year in the second game. All three played in the offensive backfield. Everybody else that had injuries has returned and are healthy.
