I just stumbeled across thecoachtracker.com Just click under high school jobs and then click on Tennessee or any other state for a listing of open positions. I'm not sure how accurate the information is but it has some of the many positions open in Tennessee. Good luck to all that are looking!

Where is the job posted?

Webb would be a great choice for the job. He has proven over the years that he can do more with less than most coaches. If the lower levels at Jasper are indeed as good as everyone says, then Webb could look good as their coach.

In my earlier post I was trying to give Davis the benefit of the doubt about his first year as a head coach, but after reading this, I cannot. This sends a terrible message to his players that it is ok to give up. Not a good move for a long term plan of making CC a winner.

You have to have very thick skin to be a head coach at this level. Davis will be fine now that he has seen his players over the course of a season and he has the off season to evaluate his talent and develop a system that will be best for them.

You can't make chicken salad out of chicken ... If you know what I mean.

After hearing all the disgrunteled MC folks debate wether their coach is good or not, I noticed that the CCS folks are awful quiet on this board. I have heard roumors that Coach Loyal may be on his way out as well. Either way, it should be an interesting off-season in the Senic City an the Valley. BTW, Coach Boeck should keep his job, although I do think MC will lose this week.

I know you are a very, very serious man, and as an Italian I respect that. However, do you really think that SP needs to throw the ball? Lankford will have his way with the tiggers. The only thing you have to worry about is when the mercy rule will be applied. Will it be in the 3rd or 4th qtr?

I have been watching and reading CoachT for a couple of years too, and living in a small town, I can tell you that Topix is getting all the attention lately. They have forums for anything and everything. It pains me to see this site going downhill but hopefully people like Butchie, Old Pirate, and The Ambassador can keep it alive. I have enjoyed their posts in the past. The other problem is that once proud programs are going through rough times now. Union City, Marion County, and Cascade just to name a few.
