  1. You are a bit off on 160. As much as I would like to think you are correct.
  2. I am selling my personal wrestling mats. I have a 18x14 3 section with one circle. This mat is 2 1/2" thick and has a gymnastic surface on the back it is a dollamur flex roll mat. I also have a 12x23 2 section mat. This mat is also 2 1/2" thick with a gymnastic surface on the back and it has 2 circles. Lastly I have a 12x12x2" 2 section mat with one cirlce. Nothing fancy on the back of this one. Email me at hamblinconstruction@yahoo.com if interested. I can send pictures.
  3. Congratulations Bump11. You came the closest on the guestimates for top 4 in small school. Pretty slick work
  4. To clarify, I am not referring to the current staff there
  5. To clarify...it's not the current staff I am referring to
  6. Booger. It's a sore subject for me because of the time I invested and money of my own spent to get something going there just to have a couple others force me out, then step in and destroy it. For what you ask? Who knows but they have both destroyed something good and one of them keeps leaving wreckage everywhere he goes. He knows who he is.
  7. I'm not insulted. On the other hand the kids that fought that day may be. Wasn't their fault the rules were what they were. Things in that county are different now. When I interviewed at Greenbrier the next year the handcuffs would have been even tighter. I understand they still are. More kudos to the coaching staff.
  8. If you look back on a few earlier comments I said "who" you wrestle during the season goes a long way towards where you end up at seasons end, and yes it was a lopsided loss. No need to rub it in specially by a fellow region 6 guy who has supported your program and your coach. I won't be at duels. I will be at Page.
  9. Hey Fargostrut. What were you doing the day my Sycamore team got destroyed by Hixson in the consolation finals? That's right friend I was the head coach of that program then. Leaving the politics of why I am no longer there behind I will state a few facts about my team then. Our school board had a policy stating we could not travel more than 150 miles in any one direction. I was handcuffed three different ways because I was not permitted to travel to where the tougher small school competition was and I could not travel into Kentucky to wrestle so our fate was sealed. Thirdly, I was not permitted to take my kids to camps outside of Tennessee. If you were to look at our schedule then you would see that I scheduled as many tough local teams that I could. I am going to sit and wait for you, in all your infinite wisdom, to tell me how you have helped your local program besides sitting behind a screen name and running your mouth about things in which you have zero knowledge!
  10. You have a great coach. Give it another year or so. If you head to D2 then this poll won't matter anyway
  11. By region. 1. Greenville. Secured. 2. Pigeon Forge. 3. Alcoa. 4. Notre Dame. 5. Hixson. 6. Greenbrier. Secured. 7. Page. 8. Stratford. Top four finishers. 1. Pigeon Forge. 2. Hixson. 3. Greenbrier. 4. Alcoa. That's my guess......sorry Booger. Maybe next year. Next year I believe Greenbrier will be fully matured or close to it.
  12. Who you wrestle during the season plays a huge roll at the end boys. I just watched Greenbrier dominate. They have a full lineup and most others do not. Just the same....let's keep the kids level headed so that they don't hit Franklin over confident. The coaching staff has done a great job and good luck to them.
  13. Now don't be boogerin up my words. I never said slack or slackin. In fact I did say that with Shuffler they should do better.
  14. My opinion could change a little now that Shuffler is back in Greenville lineup.
  15. Greenbrier is on fire for sure. They are one of the few small school programs that can fill their lineup from top to bottom and have reserves. That attribute will definitely help in the duals as a couple teams ahead of them, in my amateur ranking, are having trouble filling some holes. Gonna leave it like it is for now. Sometimes the second best team in some regions are better than the best team in others. With that in mind my rank is my opinion of how they might end up after team duals as opposed to an actual power ranking. I will leave the actual season ranking to someone with more knowledge of all teams.
  16. Here is my guess. It's a guess because there have not been enough matches recorded and lineups are still a little skewed. 1. Pigeon Forge. 2. Hixson. 3. Red Bank. 4. Notre Dame. 5. Greenbrier. 6. Page. 7. Alcoa. 8. Signal Mountain. 9. Greenville. 10.Forrest. Have at it boys
  17. With all due respect, and at the risk of you making fun of my name like you do everyone else you disagree with......who is we?
  18. I believe the original post was regarding team competition and not individual. This being said Nolensville would have to get past Page and that will be a tall order in region 7 this season. Knowing what Coach Peck is capable of we should be seeing much more of Nolensville in the years to come, but probably not this year.....now, if Coach Peck should use my words as motivation for his team as I would suspect any good coach would do, I would say "more power to ya brother" and "enjoy the rest of your season." I really don't have a dog in that fight.
  19. Based on their number 1 finish in duels and number 3 finish in traditional last season it seems they should be somewhere in your top 12 but then I'm not doing the ranking and you are, soooooo......you tell me
  20. Merry Christmas to you and yours as well
