  1. If it's who I think it is, he shouldn't be worried about it. She's as close to a lock for another state title as there is. Sorry I couldn't get updates out as fast as some would have liked, between doing work for the Boom Ranch boys and coaching my own team it's been busy.

  3. Your need for self gratification/recognition far exceeds any contributions you make towards what we do or do not include on Pin-TN. As I said before, I don't copy someone else's work hence why I haven't commented to you directly on anything up to this point after I said I wouldn't. If you still want to compare notes, I'll be in Franklin in a couple of weeks so we can talk then.
  4. Those will be out later, like Mr 130 there will be some decisions to be made that I alluded to now that duals revealed some drops.
  5. I'm factoring in weight descents. Good luck to all of the teams competing.
  6. I'll say this, don't be surprised if some BIG names have dropped down a weight class from where they're ranked now based on what I saw on Saturday. Out of respect for those athletes & coaches getting their teams ready for duals, I'm going to hold off on putting out any updates on Pin-Tn until next week.
  7. 3 Region champs (Gibbs, Cleveland, Rossview). Next year this tournament deserves to have 8 teams, if they want to keep the girls division growing they should have 8 teams in field the same as the boys.
  8. Not sure they posted it, we were in Cleveland yesterday getting beat down and not there.... lol
  9. I know that, so how would you know the specific match ups if they're not posted? Also, no score from Riverdale vs Clarksville?
  10. Where are they showing these matches? Also, do you have the score of Riverdale & Clarksville?
  11. I don't know him personally, but I know the Dyer name has long lineage through that program.
  12. Hard to imagine him wrestling for anyone but Cleveland given the family ties.
  13. R1-1 Gibbs hosts R2-2 Bradley Central R2-1 Cleveland hosts R1-2 Maryville R3-1 Riverdale hosts R4-2 Clarksville R4-1 Rossview hosts R3-2 Rockvale
  14. Either one, but of course the fan boy in you assumes I'm talking about Fowler. All 3 are recent Super 32 finalists, right? Which ones were champs though most recently? All Fargo AA's, correct? Which ones were most recent? State champs? Each one has at least one state title with all 3 likely to be 4 timers, am I right? I could keep going but what more do you need? It's all conjecture at the moment and seems to me "you're" underestimating what EM has accomplished. It's too bad we're not likely to see them match up.
  15. Are you sure about that? Ella Murphey seems to be left out of these type conversations when they come up, but to me her resume is every bit as good as the other two.
  16. Thanks for the post, soms. I'll be pulling for Luciano to win it all this year. Her sister worked for me on a few business projects and introduced me to Ana a couple of years ago. It's been fun following her career at King, she's a great role model for HS girls competing in the sport and excited about the growth she's seen from our TN girls wrestling programs.
  17. I'm not into plagiarism "hence" I do my own homework with input from people/coaches whose opinions I respect. Not saying yours are bad, but your work has no bearing on how I go about doing mine. I'll tell you what though, you won't hear a peep from me about your work the rest of the season.
  18. Relax.... I'm not expecting to be perfect nor am I all too worried about who, what, when, or where girls are at right now. In the end, the only standings that matter are the ones at the end of the year.
  19. Shipley wrestled Nataleigh Shane pretty tough in the finals at the Halls tournament. She's all gas and no breaks, constantly putting pressure on her opponent. Postlewaite is good too, but based on what I saw from Shipley against Shane at Halls even in a loss I went with Shipley. All 4 of them (Shipley, Postlewaite, Cruz, Shelton) are in Region 1 so that will sort itself out soon enough with one or two of them likely to drop out of the top 6 after the dust settles.
  20. Rincon was winning 8-2 before her injury at the Maryville Invitational & beat Sacharczyk a few weeks before in the I-40 Clash @ Stone Memorial. Iams was winning 5-1 was & dominating that match before Hamelryck medically forfeited out. In both cases I was sitting mat side and ot was obvious who the better wrestlers were during their respective matches. Say what you want about Iams and her "lack of competition", but she's put together a pretty good string of wins over the last month or so against some tough girls and I had no reservations putting her where I did. The Heavyweight class can go a multitude of ways, no real consistent winner outside of Diamond Young IMO. I don't see that changing anytime soon. I'll admit I missed the Von Loh win, that would change it for me had I known.
  21. They're really good and people shouldn't over look them at all. We were missing a few, but nor sure it'd matter.
