Tonight’s game should be a good one with an electric atmosphere. Ally is a great young player with good numbers, but which of the top 3 does she deserve to replace? With Micah Hart putting up good numbers as well, and also getting a Miss Basketball finalist snub, those 2 should put on a great head-to-head show tonight.

Not familiar with Peabody, I know by this site they are rated #1 on strength and success. Does anyone have any opinions or comments on them?

ok, that's better. I am not familiar with your #1, but I would guess the top pitcher on a state tourney team wouldn't be expected to give up 9 runs either!

Anyone in the tournament now has a chance, matchups and pitching depth are now primary key to success to get thru. How many games of Goodpasture have you seen Vandychris? I have watched most of Summertown's games. Summertown has mostly gone with the pitching of Beard, Landrum, Riddle, Bailey, Burleson (with some spot pitching by Giles and Ambrose)

I never liked a call in that situation.... Loretto should be mad about the lane violation that costed them the lead in the 2nd OT... Perry Co. has been on the wrong side of a lane violation, I guess it all works out. I know they thought that was a BS call in their situation against Summertown but my how they must have enjoyed the one the got tonight!

WOW... I debated on going to the game... Listened to it on the radio, sure to be a lot of talk about the no foul to end the 3rd OT.

Vandychris, not sure what statement you are trying to make. Bullshark was referring to district 7 and you brung up a 30-1 (12-0 in the district) from district 5. The lose to Collinwood happened in a Christmas tourney and I would think the focus of the Houston County team at this point of the season is probably a little more intense. I agree that it was a big win for the Lady Eagles. But district 7 is a power is a district.

I think Summertown deserves some credit, not just "lack of motivation". Of the 25 games that Perry County played, Summertowm held them to 39, 34 and 32 points. That's 3 out their 4 lowest scoring totals all season. The other one was 37, their lose to Houston County.

I agree with that, Rice acted like a big baby, I understand being upset but you gotta have a little class when losing as well as winning. On another note Loretto and Collinwood both looked good tonight. Collinwood shot lights out across their 6 man rotation, if they can duplicate that against Loretto, it should be a good one Tuesday night.

Yeah I have noticed Bates gets in foul trouble a lot. I think with the 2 bigs they have, they could give Loretto some trouble in the post because the Fleming kid is not physical by no means. But I do agree if Loretto is shooting it well from outside it will be tough to win.

Would be fun to watch. What # is Bates?
