The Owls will play 6a Riverdale at home. Play 3A Signal on the road. Play 4A East Ham at home and will travel to Clyde Erwin HS in North Carolina, the school has an enrollment of 1300. Its a darn good schedule.

East Hamilton will face outside of district: Signal, Cleveland, Soddy and Ooltewah......

We return 16 starters and again will be large up front on both sides. QB should be back along with TB and Coleman will be the go to guy. They only spot that will be hurt is the D backfield.

A few of the coaches in 5AAA or what ever it will be next year have chosen not to do TV games, due to no revenue sharing by the local outfit. If the game is at Rhea then Rhea controlls if they come or not. I do know the adminstration at Hooterville and Cane Hill canned it, and can show the lack of gate when the game is on TV. But I am sure they will hammer something out........

Canes will get to see 3 olds friend next year. At Hooterville, Cleveland and Soddy come to Hurricane Hill........

If the game is at Rhea they might, they will not if its at Hooterville.

East Ham and Signal are a lock in week 0! As for job openings........ There could be a few key jobs come open that's all I say about that.

Harrison was in a bad car accident and is in serious condition @ Erlanger. Harrison is the younger brother of TJ Warren a former Ooltewah star player and now @ Furman. This is a great kid his mom is the lady track coach at Ooltewah.

Science Hill may win this game but this bunch of Bears will fight the whole way........ The Copeland kid is outstanding, it's a tuff bunch of kids.

Congrats to the Ooltewah Owls back to back 5AAA champs! 10-0! The champs are here, the nest will be rocking...... Got too see the semi finals in Hooterville with Knox West.

To my friends in 5AAA. The Chattacane bids you farewell. Moving back to 4A. I have enjoyed my time chatting with you guys. It is my hope that this district contunes to get better and gets that gold ball. I think we have a shot this year with the Owls. I will check in from time to time to throw some jabs....... But not so fast as they say. A good friend of mine tells me that Bradley, Raiders, and the Owls will grace the schedule of the Canes the next 2 years........ So we will still be able to bond. As Dorothy told the Scarecrow I will miss you the most of all......... Passive you are my Scarecrow.

It was a great game to watch. Bradley is a good ball team not losing much this year. the Copeland kid is going to be very good.

I think this Owls team is pretty special...... There D alone is enough to beat McMinn.

It is a great sport! But the down side is this. This kid will be on the field if they will let him..... He is a player.

Yea he is a stud! Great game by that O line they blew it open.

Rhea wins 42-14! They beat us up pretty bad. I mean we could not stop them at all. #6 for EH had 125 rushing and 110 passing other then that not much. If this was a prize fight they would have stopped it. Coleman in his 2nd game back might be lost. Not really disappointed or upset Rhea is just a lot better team.

No we are still get big crowds. Yes we have some dad's that think they know more then the coaches. It's like this of the 22 starters 16 of them will return next year. We lost our 1st and 2nd QB we are know using a kid that has not played the position since he was 11 in Pop Warner. there also been some key season ending injuries at key areas. We started a new offense this year. We had to replace Herndon, Gatewood both Francios boys, Parker, Lenoir, all who are playing college ball now. Also graduated some key lineman. So this is about right. I checked the TSSAA web site East Ham has played more teams with a 500 record or better more than anyone else in 5A. A schedule that includes, Signal, Ooltewah, Kingsport DB, Riverdale, Cleveland, Rhea, and Soddy and Walker Valley the 1st 6 are in the playoffs and the other 2 have shots so 6 and maybe 8 teams on our schedule will go to the playoffs. So the record is pretty close to right. But we have fans that just don't get it. Truth be known we had a shot and could have beaten Signal, and Cleveland if we had done that we are in the mix for a playoff spot. Riverdale, Kingsport DB, Ooltewah were just way better then us and it showed.
