  1. . I hope you do stack 11 in the box!!! Ya know Riverside tried that as well BigPurple your just plain hating on the Mustangs, reckon your stomach still hurting from all the crow you ate last October when we whooped those pups in their own pen. Lol just messing with ya! No doubt Trenton is better and they gave Milan a scare, but what happens BPM IF the mustangs beat them soundly? Hmmmm
  2. We will have it in tune for Trenton. Gonna give them a steady diet of ground and pound!!! No doubt there tough, hanging with Milan was unreal. But your coming to Paul Ward Stadium and even those Bulldogs will tell you it ain't easy to win in our back yard!! Look forward to a slobber knocker of a game. Hope everyone leaves healthy!!
  3. I have no doubt that there QB is good but with our defense line he may not have time to throw. Defensive ends an LB's are really quick!
  4. Ain't no doubt that Paul Ward Stadium will be rocking when the bulldogs come a knocking. As I'm sure you know, it's mighty tough to beat the Stangs at home. Remember 2003? Quite possibly the best high school football game I've had the pleasure of watching, well that one and us vs Alcoa in 2004...
  5. Lol Huntingdon may have exited earlier than the Bulldogs but the bottom line is that those very same Mustangs flat out layed the smack down on the dogs in their own back yard!
  6. Now I never said anything about handing out gold balls just yet. There's alot of football to be played and some very good teams out there. All im saying is that this year Huntingdon could and proly should have a much more balanced team this year and that the talent.pool is definately not dry. We have a good solid group if young men that have a bit of a chip on there shoulders from last years loss to Wayne County. Nothing against Wayne co they were very deserving, our kids just know they were capable of doing more. Guess we will see how it all plays out. Good luck to all teams and pray for healthy season for all!!
  7. You are correct about Tyler, he was definately a stud for us last year. However you need not try to convince those of us in Stangland that it was a one man show. Tyler was able to do alot of what he did because of the studs that we're blocking for him up front. Yes almost all of them are back and there are a handful of juniors that are absolutely huge that will step in this year as well. This years team may actually be better than last year for. 2 reasons, they are much stronger and very balanced..They wont have just one threat in the backfield but multiple threats. Not to mention a couple of studs at fullback.
  8. I do believe Huntingdon will be at Perry County this Friday. That will be a good measuring stick for Perry County to see how they will fare this year.
  9. I will agree with you 100%!! Had huntingdon stuck with the game plan and continued to feed donald the ball might have been different turnout lol well that and our kicking game. Both teams were loaded with talent!
  10. Thanks, hate im missing it. Looks like both pitched a heck of a game .
  11. Haha misfortune would have growing up on the other side of the creek and being forced to play for them rebels of Mckenzie Respect what yall have done with your program but proud Chris is a Stang and that my kid aspires to play like he did!
  12. Chris was one really gifted athelete! I loved watching him and Boo reak havoc on the field. Obviously this crackhead that made the comments about Chris either never saw him play or has no clue about football! On a side note, been watching the boys we have now lifting weights and doing cardio and I will say there are a few beasts in that sophmore and junior class. Cant wait for fall!!!
  13. No sir its not April but you are coming to Huntingdon to play the #1 team in the state. They didn't give these boys that ranking they earned it by beating every team they have faced. Yea your argument will be so has WC but again it comes down to strength of schedule and for whatever reason WC' s was weak this year. I mean no disrespect to anyone but to be the man you gotta beat the man!! Right now that's our boys and they will be awaiting your arrival tomorrow night.
  14. Glad you enjoyed the write up lol Like I said I expect WC fans to disagree , tomorrow night can't get here fast enough!!!
  15. I finally decided to get on here and post a little something. First let me say congratulations to both teams on making it to the 3rd round of the playoffs! Next I would like to give a early WELCOME to all of you from Wayne County that will be traveling to Paul Ward Stadium in Huntingdon and I hope that your experience is one that you will remember for a long time. While it appears that both of these teams are hitting on all cylinders at just the right time I will have to go with Huntingdon based on what I have seen thus far. No disrespect to Wayne County (and they could very well win)but I have to believe that Huntingdons running game will pose some problems for you that you havent seen this year. I did go to the WC PC game and although it was impressive the way your secondary was able to stop Tucker i didnt see anything that led me to believe you could stop a good running attack. PC didnt have a good run game, heck I'm not sure they even had a run game other than Tucker.Your backers were fast as was your secondary but all we need is 3-4 yards a carry. No doubt this will be a very good game and I wouldnt miss it for nothing I think the Mustangs come out on top 35-14. I know the WC posters will disagree, as you should, but there are just too many weapons on this team to slow them down. Coach Swenson hasnt played all his cards just yet and I look forward to when he really turns these kids loose and lets them go. As a fan and as the father of one of these kids I will say this has been awesome season reguardless of how this game turns out Friday night. I am proud of each one of these kids, from the freshmen to the Sr's. They all play a role and knowing their role and doing what needs to be done on the practice field, offseason and in the game is what has made this team play so well. I pray for a injury free game, great sportsmanship and safe travels for all! Get em STANGS!
