  1. What is Bearman talking about. It doesn't say that Poole was in the finals. What it says is: "This week: Stevens pinned Poole en route to winning Science Hill. Stevison placed 3rd at Brentwood. Insalaco won Sycamore at 126. Poole placed 4th at Science Hill. Tristan Hackett (Beech) won Hendersonville." It says that Stevens pinned Poole. Stevens won the tourny. Poole placed fourth. No where does it say that he beat Poole in the finals, like you are claiming. How much are you drinking tonight? Also, Hamm does the Division I ranking. Why are you attacking him about division II results? Sounds personal, man. Get a grip. Besides. Don't let the smile fool you. Hamm can still go. I think he can take you.
  2. from a rankings perspective, Cleveland wins 11 of 14 matches. 170 is up for grabs, but Cleveland is clearly the favorite in a head to head match. If the rankings hold true, this match wouldn't even be close.
  3. Everyone is well ahead of themselves. WC has only won one match at the state tournament in the history of the school. Also, if you look at the state rankings on the TWF site, you can find a list of the schools WC has beaten.
  4. is a program considered down when they lose to Cleveland? In that case, does that mean the majority of the teams are down?
  5. I saw Central at the Super32 qualifier, vs Beech, and vs Blackman and I noticed two state qualifiers sat the bench and another on crutches. I think it's safe to say that their lineup is not complete right now either.
  6. Science Hill drops because out of state teams beat them? :S
  7. Central scores from Buccaneer duals: West Creek 6 Wilson 68, Hillsboro -4 Wilson 84, Ravenwood 26 Wilson 46, White House 6 Wilson 74, Beech 12 Wilson, 59. Not sure if this is accurate this is just what i saw on facebook.
  8. Am i the only one that noticed that the author of this thread only has 4 posts? Could it be that some idiot trouble maker who has a different handle, created a different one with a Red Bank theme JUST to start a little trouble on the thread. What seems really obvious to me has duped several of you. Don't buy into it, guys. Laugh at the stupidity of the post and keep on moving.
  9. Eagleville also got their first ever state medalist this weekend at 160, and a freshman 106 pulled a couple of tricks out of his hat and almost got himself a medal too! Congrats to the Region Five teams that finally brought some hardware home from the show!!! Great job Eagleville and Wilson Central
  10. I left the Notre Dame Coaches out of this by accident, but they are consistently developing great wrestlers in a very small school as well!
  11. We all are aware of the bigger schools and the great job that their coaches are doing, but i would just like to open the floor and give notice to some of the coaches that are doing great jobs that do not get the recognition. Please feel free to agree or disagree. 1) Jeff Price/Jimmy Miller (Science Hill)- consistently putting out top teams. They have a formula that works! 2) Greg Foreman (Pigeon Forge)- starting to build a dynasty in the small school division, and once again top-10 at the state individuals. They are well on their way. 3) Loeffer (Cordova)- year after year putting out tough teams in a small Memphis town. Has placed several kids as state champions or state medalists and even has placed many wrestlers on varsity teams at the next level. 4) Ronnie Bray (Blackman)- In his second middle tennessee school and had no problem cranking out state medals or adding another finalist to his coaching resume. 5) Kramer/Hamm Bone (Wilson Central)- This school seemed to come out of no where this year. Kramer has been around a few years and they have gotten better and better since he took over. Hamm Bone has a history of training upperweights and is helping to produce another one in freshman Kramer. 6) Peck (Ravenwood)- A couple of Region championship teams in a row in a very rough region, and a couple of state plaques to go along with it. Seems to always do a good job with his bunch. 7) Dooley (Antioch)- No one ever seems to mention this man, but go back and check the state brackets over the last few years. Normally there are one or two antioch kids in the parade of champions. And from what i understand, most of these kids never come out for wrestling until their junior and senior years. 8) Badon (Dickson Co)- Keeps a strong group of kids year in and year out, and just like Dooley, consistently cranks out state medals over the years. 9) Jon Roberts (Beech)- keeps the kids active in the offseason, and they are starting to sneak up on people. Once again over the years he keeps kids sprinkled in the medal rounds of the state tournament. These are just a few from my observation. What are your thoughts. Who do you disagree with? Who have I left out?
  12. I wonder if Sommers knows that WC won their last match.
  13. or maybe there are only 6 slots, yet several good wrestlers.
  14. Region 3- Soddy Defeated Walker Valley and recieved a forfeit from Cleveland. Soddy Daisy (Champion), Cleveland (Runner-up)
  15. I think i heard Blackman beat Wilson Central. I think Region 5 has Blackman and Siegel. Who else out there is going to Franklin?
  16. I have heard that both Hixson and Page have qualified. But who else is in?
  17. Siegel lost to Wilson Central 61-15. final standings in District 9: 1. Blackman 2. Coffee Co final standings in District 10: 1. Wilson Central 2. Siegel Region duals matches will be: Blackman vs Siegel/ Wilson Central vs Coffee Co. with the winners advancing to the state tournament and wrestle for the region duals championships.
  18. BCB is starting to sound and act like Sommers.
  19. What teams will be attending this tournament?
