You make some good points, I think I might be one of those crazy MJ parents.... Actually I think MJ over achieved this season..... defense and pitching were fine, hitting was never there. So if Carter leaves for TSSAA ...MJ is looking for another coach as well.... I hear 3 assistants have stepped down. Honestly, Coach Carter did a pretty good job of it......the expectations are high there.

Why in the world would MP want the Lebanon job? Talk about a challenge.... Lebanon is a long long way from being competitive.. I think they have better players than they have had in the past, however there is no support system like at MJ.. The school administration, the booster club the town it's self. JMHO

All I heard all year was how great Tullahoma was, they were the best, no other team close, the brothers were taking them to the promise land..... and it boiled down to an umpire..... HA Hey you guys are good, the brothers are good, but maybe next year have some humility.

The lower bracket is a tougher bracket. Happens every year, in all levels, TSSAA is about the worst I have seen when it comes to playoff baseball, from the scheduling to the brackets, how they determine ( draw ) the teams, hey it's baseball, not football......

I might add that the umpiring past the 5th inning was questionable...... not blaming the ump but he missed a few , such as not awarding time to a batter then, the ball was obviously a ball 4 walk, then saying oh but wait I did award time....so no pitch.... Bottom line it was a good game, a tight game, gotta hit the ball and learn how to preserve a lead.

MJ is hitting much better, playing smarter and the defense is good. Pitching is good.... hopefully we make it to the state and see what happens... Give credit where credit is due, Coach Carter and the other coaches have them clicking right now.

FC should have no trouble getting to state, if the ball bounces their way they can win state. After this season, it could be a different story. They are losing alot.

I would agree, a few more tweaks to the line-up would help. We'll see tomorrow night what happens.
