Nope, not in cahoots at all with Pegleg and powerp. Don't even know them! We've got a full crew that can protect your Murphy Fair book... I do have to say, the Clemons man has the bathrooms in good shape, but I wouldn't leave my book in there again! Do we need to bring some fudge rounds to help seal the deal? Don't want to bring too many though and you have to leave again without your drawers....

DTC Sports is planning to televise this game live from Turney Ford Field on Friday night. In doing so, we have a special request. We would like to have the famous Roy Dillard join us this week on our talk show and would love to have his commentary in the booth during the game on Friday night. I will even have Murphy Fair give Roy an autographed book (as long as he doesn’t leave it in the bathroom) if he will make an appearance. Help me out folks! We need to make Roy a TV star!

Thank you, Purple Reign! I wish we could too, personally, but that isn't an option as of yet. We have been looking at some types of on demand streaming options that we may be able to use in the future to do that. I would love to see it happen for sure, for those who do want to see the games, but don't live in our TV service area.

DTC Sports will be in Woodbury this Friday night, as the Cannon County Lions and Smith County Owls battle in a game that will likely determine the last playoff seed out of Region 4-3A!! Cannon County last made the playoffs in 2009, while the Owls made a quarterfinal run in last season's playoffs. We will also be filming the Watertown-Jackson County game, which will air on a tape-delayed basis. We will announce the air dates for that event early next week.

Being at the press conference and talking to everyone before and afterwards, I got the feeling that 75-25 comment meant more to the effect that they were looking for someone with character, first and foremost, not that they were looking for someone who was 25 percent coach. I don't think that's what was meant at alI in that comment. My opinion, think they've made a very good hire. He has a great deal of coaching experience, knows and loves Cannon County, and I truly believe he will work very hard for the program. He said it himself, it's going to take time, as well as patience and support. Cannon fans really love their football (and all their sports) and will get behind the new coach and the players. I'm excited to see the product on the field this fall.
