I see Dickson finishing lower and Indy finishing higher but I like everything else. At this point it's just opinions.

Siegel is overranked and Brentwood shouldn't even be in the top 30. Independence will be better than 36 because they have a nice front 7 and o-line.

The pep rally was the scrimmage. They have this every year and use this as a Friday night run-through for the players, coaches, and fans.

Middle tennessee has better football than the east because they are deeper. That being said, Maryville is the best team in the state and I'm right whether you like it or not. The doubters are stupid. It's there. They win. I ran into someone the other day from Ravenwood who said "if we didn't have to play Blackman in the playoffs than we would have won state." I asked him about Maryville and he said "I saw them play and they didn't look very good." I almost threw a rock at him. Even though I like his confidence, his ignorance of Maryville's success just made him look so stupid. The rebels are good, and even if you don't like them, you cannot ignore them, just they way it is, deal with it.

Look at the 9-AAA thread and look at what they think about those teams. WC is down this year. Ravenwood played bad against Central.

With nine teams in district 4, who does the #9 seed play? Do they play the best #1 seed from either distrct 3 or 4 while the #8 seed plays the worse #1 seed?

R Ravenwood beat Beech and WC by decisive margins, but they were not landslides.

Rietveld was great on the freshman team his freshman year but was undersized and spotty his sophomore year starting varsity. Part of that was inexperience as he went against juniors and seniors. I looked at him and thought of him as someone who would blossom and be good or even great his senior year. Only time will tell if he can do that, but he will have to if Centennial is to contend for district.

Both of the QB's at CHS have varsity experience, Roth started last year and Rietveld at Ravenwood his sophomore year.

Stewarts Creek is at Brentwood tonight and I think this is the moment where we first see the results of the RedHawks improvement we keep hearing about. I know it may not show on the scoreboard but it will still be there.

Crawford left a year before the team had 36 seniors and went 9-1. Pemberton came and all of a sudden the team doesn't weightlift anymore. Sometime I wonder if he made the non-distrct schedule as hard as he could make it knowing he would leave and then announce his resignation mere days before spring practice.

They play two 11-AAA schools, one good and one bad. That will give us an idea on where Stweie is.

I know neither Stewie or Page are in district 11 but I'm still wondering how that went?

Centennial has always had talent. When Rector arrived is when he did something with the talent and won. This is the first year in a while that their fanbase hasn't been all over these message boards saying that they will win district and have a chance to go to state. However, if they can turn either Roth or Conner Rietveld into a great QB then the sky is the limit for this team. Maybe not state, but they could contend for a district title.

Indy has a strong team this year that is going to be underestimated, they may have lost a few studs but they also return a lot too. Watch out

Ravenwood and Lincoln County meet today with Ravenwood scoring three times in the 1's-on-1's. Lincoln County also added a TD late. Then they did Special Teams. After that the JV for both teams took over with each team scoring once. And yes, there was a big fight between the two teams, just like last year.
