Intresting observation. A few years ago a 2A school from Texas named Refrgio was constantly blowing everyone out in the regular season, and would pull starters at halftime. The result was a team without the stamina to go 48 Minuites and therefore always lose in the semi finals to a more seasoned team. So what does he do next? He makes the choice to play his starters for 3 quarters no matter what the score was. He was winning games 91-0 sometimes. He was getting labeled as a bully and even got a death threat. But guess what? That year they won the state title. So yes, the fact that CPA has put teams away all year leads me to believe that Alcoa has an advantage, maybe a big one.

This brings back memories of schools in the Memphis suburbs who were tired of bad gates playing Memphis City schools. They were annoyed to the point that they asked the TSSAA if they could move into Division 2 with the privates. Think about it. Public schools asked if they could be moved into a reigion with schools who were taking all their talent and would take even more if they were district rivals. Luckily, the idea was voted down, but it shows how bad city schools fan turnout is.
