  1. Guarantee 100% that's not true. Would make less than zero sense.
  2. 5-4 Farragut wins. Simcox comes in and strikes out 2 to close it. Ads sweep nationally ranked Lexington Catholic in a good one.
  3. 5-4 Farragut in the bottom of the 7th. 2 on, 1 out and Simcox takes the hill for the Admirals.
  4. 3-0 after 2. Serrano with 3 more walks to load the bases and gets the K on a 3-2 fastball to end the inning. BIG out.
  5. 3-0 LC over Farragut after 1. Serrano having trouble with his control with 3 walks in the inning.
  6. In game one of the two game series, Farragut (45th in PerfectGame Top 50) beat Lexington Catholic (46th in Top 50) by a score of 7-3. Strong pitching from Chambers and Freeman kept the Knights off balance all night and AJ Simcox continued hitting out of his mind (2-4 HR, .502 average on the year), and the Admirals put up more runs against the Knights than any other team this season to hand the Knights only their 4th loss on the year (two of the three were to top 25 teams nationally). Game two should be starting shortly, will be interesting to see who Buckner pitches.
  7. Three seniors is scary.. Especially with all the underclass man who are playing right now.
  8. Agreed. Especially with only 3 seniors on this team I don't see them winning it. They may not even make the tournament, but they do have the mental edge on their side. A lot of teams play tight against Farragut in elimination games which will help them a lot.
  9. Been hearing that for 4 years now from the west tn folk. I think you'd have to say its Farragut's to lose until someone finally beats them. Plus i know for a fact Collierville doesnt want any part of Farragut in the state tournament after putting them out it seems every single year. Just saying.
  10. DB looks great, but always chokes come playoff time. Farragut looks average, but always plays great during playoff time. Sour apples from some people, Farragut always runs a great tournament. And why would they purposely cheat SC and choose Bearden (their biggest rival) instead? Doesn't make sense.
  11. Really? How many state championships did Farragut have before Coach Pharr? How many state appearances did CAK have? GTFO out of here with that crap. Both Clark and Hawk have had JUST as much talent as Pharr has had. Difference is, Farragut works harder and plays more disciplined than anyone else. You can have the most talent in the world, but without a great coach you would never win anything. Pharr is definitely best around no one else's resume compares.
  12. Truly shocking story.. Really makes you stop and think. Unimaginable talent RIP Stephen.
  13. Not sure just got the update from my buddy who works at Blackman.
  14. Make that 0-4 in the tournament. Been a LONG time since a Farragut team lost 4 games in a row. A VERY long time.
  15. I definitely agree with you they've had to overcome some major injuries and have still only lost 2 games by a combined 2 runs. All the experience the freshman will get during the regular season will be absolutely crucial come May. Remember too that Farragut set the record for most losses on a state championship team back in 2006 with I believe 16. So not too worried about this team Buckner will have them peaking at the right time when the playoffs roll around. Go Ads!
  16. Farragut lost both games in a doubleheader last night. Tullahoma 1 Farragut 0 Blackman 5 Farragut 4 (First win over Farragut in school history) Not sure about details for the games, other than the first game was won on an error by Farragut.
  17. Surprised how strong Farragut is looking this year so far with how much they lost. Should contend yet again.
  18. Farragut 19-0 over Lenoir City.
  19. Someone took the bait. Remind me what division CB is in again. One of the lowest classification in the state if I remember correctly. I think anyone would agree that 8 titles in AAA is far superior to 10 in Division II ball, and not to mention the record 4 straight.
  20. FarragutU still remembers watching a JV game vs Jeff Co. in '06 where FarragutU's JV won 26-2. Funny how fast a program can find 8 studs who throw 85+. FarragutU knows though that it doesn't matter how fast you throw if you can't throw strikes.
  21. What say everyone? 1. Farragut University 2. ? 3. ? 4. ? 5. ?
