It’s a different coach, and after he took over play calling in week 8, we averaged 52 points a game. Shore up a couple spots, and this offense will be scary good. Defense looks much improved too. Barring any setbacks or injuries, this team has a chance.

1s vs 1s, it was actually a pretty dominant performance overall for the Patriots. There’s a couple of positions that have a long way to go. But when they figure it out, this team is going to be dangerous. As far as crickets, I’m also surprised at the lack of posters here from HC’s side this preseason. Don’t think it has anything to do with the scrimmage, though. The Patriots looked really good for being 6ish days in pads.

They are a talented group. HC is going to be set up well for the foreseeable future. I’ll tell you who else impresses me, and that’s the kid that started for Inman at QB last year as a 7th grader. I know our starting QB has been training him for well over a year if not two. That kid is the future. If he were to win the job early, all of Damron’s passing records could be in jeopardy.

Henry County has: Christian Brothers 7/29 MBA 8/5 Haywood Co in the Jamboree 8/12 Between their scrimmages and opening up with Summit, Beech, Brentwood in 3 of their first 4 games.. you’d be hard pressed to find a tougher 6 game stretch than the Patriots have.

Have not seen a schedule for the jamboree yet. Usually Haywood Co is in it. Last year Jackson North Side was there. I do not think, however, that Westview will be here this year.

I think y’all have a dynamic QB that can really sling it, and if the pieces are around him y’all could make some noise in that region. Would love to see the rivalry with HC come back

GA kid is a 2024 LB/FB and the middle TN kid is a 2023 that can play RB/WR/DB/Rover. Very versatile

It won’t end well for him to do that here, especially if he was trying to take a shot at our QB.

3 more W’s. McKenzie was kinda tight. I think it was 6-3. They’re very good at the skill positions, especially with Taylor. If anyone beats them in 1A I’ll be surprised. We handled Crockett and Milan well. Wasn’t quite as sharp as the Trenton one, but pretty sharp for the first day back after dead period. There’s a couple new players that moved in. One that played 6A Georgia ball and another from 6A middle TN. I like where we’re at this early in the season.
