In the run game I give the edge to the Patriots. Good backs behind good blocking. Likes to run behind Luke a bunch. In the passing game I give edge to the Jackets only bc I think they have a bunch of good WRs. This will be the Jackets biggest test to date. Im not to concerned with the defense but am anxious to see the offense having more weapons than last yr. I can’t help but think of only scoring 6 pts in 2 games last yr. I know it’s a different yr and offense appears to be better but it’s still in the back of my mind.

The reason he gave........facepalm. Now the game is only played on the field but Rossview same athletes squeaked by Wilson Central and lost by double digits to Clarksville and NE (both have athletes). The Jackets blowed them all out by 25, 34, and 36 pts. He makes 0 sense but to each their own.

Yes it is. Portland might be capable. They scored alot against white house. But macon is better than bdp.

I understand. Even though this is a different yr the Jackets were dominated by HC and 2nd half by Beech last yr. Jackets have to prove it. It’s possible Jackets and Henry meet again in the 3rd rd. But Munford appears to be a good team over in the west.

Homecoming for the Jackets. Little useless nugget but both teams have 3 common opponents. Ross beat Wilson C. 16-14, lost to NE 20-34 and Clarksville 10-35. Jackets beat Wilson 35-10, NE 50-14 and Clarksville 34-0. Ross avg score 15-28 against the 3. Jackets avg is 42-8. This game last yr was a repulsive 14-7 win for the Jackets. But this yr Im going 42-7

Great HS game. Most of the time teams don’t execute the hook and lateral that well but the bears played it as well as one can. They started with good field position as well. Big boy call to go for 2 for White Co. Just a great game.

Final 43-6 Starters was 43-0. Running clock at the beginning of the 3rd. Dudes looked good. On to Rossview.

All 6 teams step back into region play this week. The big game in region is Portland vs Northeast. Both, along with Springfield and Henry Co, should be the 4 teams from the region to represent in the postseason. My picks Portland @ NE Panthers 35-27 Springfield @ Kenwood Jackets 49-6 NW @ Henry Co Patriots 48-0
