Bout time for some basketball talk!! going to be a great season this year, should be as interesting as the football in our region...now for my pre season picks which will probably change as soon as the first games have been played... 1. Harpeth 2. Sycamore 3. Waverly (will battle for the spot with creekwood and cheatham all season and will take the spots with an upset or two against the top teams...il say that these three teams will all split their games against each other just to make the final games crucial) 4. Creekwood 5. Cheatham Co. 6. Fairview 7. Stewart Co. 8. Montgomery Cent. Can't wait!!

wow, that wouldnt be too bad of a region for us....but that would only leave room for like 2 non region games....i know camden would have to be one, i would hate to see that rivalry get kicked off the schedule....and who do you think would be the other??

Camden is undefeated in the region so they have first right now... Waverly has 1 loss in region giving them a tie currently for 2nd Stewart County tied for 2nd Huntingdon has 2 losses (to camden and SC) putting them in 4th Waverly and Stewart County both still have to face Camden which mostly likely will be a loss for both.... If huntingdon wins out they will set up a 3 way tie with SC and Waverly at 2 losses and in the tie breaker it would be SC 2nd and Huntingdon 3rd and Waverly 4th.....if huntingdon losses one more region game to either adamsville or riverside that will give them a 3rd loss and leaving the other two teams tied for 2nd which would give waverly the tie breaker for the face to face against the two teams.... but it is 7-aa football so anything can happen friday night's game against sc and camden is a battle for first, if camden wins and huntingdon does get beat by one of the two teams then the waverly camden game will be a battle for first....its really fun to see how everything is turning out should be an interesting final weeks

it's wednesday and film hasn't been seen yet?? getting ready for saturday i guess....i see the excuses now..."we weren't prepared, we hadn't seen the game film" any way, should be a fun game to see...will be a true mud fight at the end.....of the first quarter anyways. camden should walk away with an easy W...good luck in playoffs to both teams

SC is not guaranteed 2nd right now....if huntingdon looses one game then waverly will have 2nd if they dont do the unimaginable this friday night.

IF the real tiger team shows up then that should be all that is needed to decide this one....hope its a good, clean, hard hitting, injury free game...i know the tigers can't afford any injurys right now because next week is huge! hope its a big crowd friday night, can't wait! i haven't said a word a bout the coach or anything...i have said that sc played dirty when they played waverly and that was because i had talked to some of the players...but i wasnt saying they did in this game...i wasnt there, but the past few games when someone brings up the word "dirty play" SC jumps on the defense and throughs in the "the other team got # personal fouls called on them" and dont worry, i can assure you that SC won't play for a piece of the regional championship...huntingdon will fall to aville which will put waverly right back into 2nd where they would stay, and stewart county wont even play close to camden

mcewen was a lot closer to home...didnt make it in from college in time to head all the way to huntingdon

has anyone else noticed when something is said about dirty play with stewart county they always post something about the other team getting a personal foul?? you do know that its always the retaliation and/or 2nd person to always get caught right...

just like everyone has said....STATS DON'T LIE!! and theres the stats folks i guess you know who the best qb's are...now how about some of the other positions because trust me, the qb isnt the guy that runs the show on his own...how about one of hale's receivers, 81 tyler full...great receiver and great returner....and at back you cant get near the talent of scott anderson from waverly, once he takes off it takes a lot to bring him down even with a broken wrist!!

agreed completely he seems to just try to start stuff with everyone...i dont think coach graves would appreciate it much to find out all the stuff hes posting

another thing...camden's QB doesnt get to play entire games all the time because when they get up so much they send in the 2nd string....unlike sc's qb who has to play the entire game against these weak schools....il be glad when sc gets moved out of the region in the new classifications and get a schedule full of these bigger schools to see what happens to these football geniuses...only problem, i think waverly will probably be moving up as well which wont hurt us as bad because we do play games against tougher schools, but sadly...sc's cupcakes are about to be smashed!!

ok well my bad, let me rephrase then, i guess everyone picks the tigers to win...cant discuss much with that...sorry ptc and hoosier i hope not to offend i guess its that most of the other, less level headed ones, just have a lot of hope that the tigers will lose this week but i dont see it happening...should be a good game to be at, good luck to sc as well against houston county would hate to see the rebels lose by overlooking this game and focusing on waverly, camden and huntingdon...it is still a big game for them as well...last 3 weeks of regular season!! anything can happen and papat just watch the game saturday, you'l see adam's will make enough difference to give the dores the advantage needed, always a great game to watch well dont get too comfortable guys...a snake is more dangerous when he's quiet than when hes making a lot of noise! the mustangs could be working on something big this week for the tigers and to finish out the season with a run to the playoffs...again, last 3 weeks, anything can happen

this will be a great match up...i would like to see the cards win it but it will be close...if aville plays to their potential they could walk away with a hard fought W...but i think the panthers will win this one Riverside: 14 Adamsville: 12

well it looks like everyone thinks the tigers will win except for sc...i guess thats why the thread cant stay on topic lol...because when they do get on here saying their opinion it breaks into sc vs waverly instead of waverly vs huntingdon...so i guess we'l just wait till saturday morning to see any real discussion on here

in picking all region plays...do they vote by regional games???

stats dont lie and neither does the strength of schedule...when a team plays a cupcake schedule they should be racking up the stats...that doesnt mean he's the best, your qb did nothing against waverly, and definently wont do anything against camden....teams that have defenses...and wait til playoffs, the sc qb wont be getting near the stats he had against the 1a schools...playoffs is when we will see who has the best players...
