If Brighton has a 1000 more kids than Hardin County then Hardin County has 400-500 kids in their school. Brighton has enrollment of 1400-1450 students. Your comment is absurd. Why make excuses. HC finally won a game be happy.

I looked at rosters from last years teams and saw that the Starks kid and Foster kid both played at Brighton last year. I knew that Dyson and Starks did, but I did not realize Foster played there also. Did both of those kids move to the Munford school district? What is going on in Tipton county? Is Tipton county open zone? I was under the impression it was not. Who is Mosley? What school does he play at? Only kid I saw named Mosley plays football. Are these schools illegally recruiting in football also? TSSAA needs to look into all schools in Tipton County. Come on people of Tipton County is it really that dirty?

Vols if what you stated is true, this is indeed troubling to say the least. What kind of message is this sending to kids in this district. Win at all costs. I to question how 3 seniors move into covington from neighboring schools and no one thinks they need to look into it. What else is troubling is I am hearing this exact thing is going on at another tipton county school. Hard to believe this could take place at two schools in one district and no one knew this is taking place. Whoever the AD is needs to get there act together. Sounds to me like The U of the 90's.

Everything you have stated can not be backed up. You stated that your coach did not know where these two young men in question lived. So basically your stating he thought they lived in Covington. Just curious how many nights they stayed with an assistant coach. Since you "know a little bit more" then you already know this. You are a JOKE.

You know the worst part of the whole thing is a few have ruined it for the rest of the team. According to their roster they have 9 seniors. So for 7 really 6 seniors their senior year as been ruined. Terrible job by the administration, athletic director and coach. Everyone knew the two young men still lived in Haywood but were playing in Covington. From what I have heard Covington isn't the only school in Tipton County with their hand in the cookie jar. Sounds like TSSAA needs to be checking all the schools in Tipton county. Anyone know if they have a county wide athletic director?

I agree. Some of the distance teams travel in Tennessee is ridiculous. The bad thing is with 5 classifications it may be worse than with 6. I do not know the answer to solving that problem. I am sure the TSSAA would be open to suggestions LOL.

I am sorry message board hero I did not realize I was required to meet certain criteria before posting on a message board. I was trying to join in on discussion about classification in Tennessee High School. For some reason you felt impelled to tell me about Maryville Zoning. Not that I asked, or for that matter care where the Zones are for your area. I see no reason for you to "defend" Maryville Football. I believe they take care of that themselves when they step onto the field every Friday night. I would like to apologize for not being as experience in the message board world as you the great one. I will do my best to again the knowledge you possess when it comes to being the message board hero. For the time being I will be studying the rules and regulations associated with posting on message boards.

That is very true. All D-1 private schools do not recruit either but they are multiplied the same as the ones that do. There is not a way to determind the open zone schools that recruit vs the ones that do not. Therefore they should all be multiplied. Is it fair? Not for open zone schools not recruiting. The simple solution would be if your not recruiting then there is no reason to be open zone. Take the kids in your zone and play ball.
