Siegel, Hillsboro, and if they're healthy Beech should have a shot.

Guys last i checked, fans dont win games. So why should it matter how many beech has?

My friend, i think you fail to realize Beech's defense is pretty tough to score against, Especially from outside. Guard play is all that they play. Last year if my memory serves me correctly the largest loss they suffered was 6 points to Giles County with Mr. Smith. The most point they gave up was 77, and that was in a DOUBLE OT game. And you cant say the D has lost any players, Eric Sampson yes, but with as many guards as Beech has just waiting to play replacing him on defense should not be a problem. I dont see a 10-15 point win in there. This one will be close. And one more point, Beech has a game before Siegel to get into form so to speak. Im not saying beech will definitely win, all i am implying is that it will be closer than what you are predicting.

Well the season schedule, is on the schools coacht page... and the christmas tourney from what i've heard, Brentwood Academy, Wilson Central, Jackson North Side, and more. Thats all i've heard so far.

As far as scrimmaging goes, idk about any of those. But, a big advantage goes to Siegel in this one. 3 players are out for Beech. Should be a good one anyways.

It is a huge shame that malcolm is gone...the whole rumor started this past weekend and then became clear after the tests...but if he can get back for track season he should get a track scholarship so there ya go, with malcolm gone the punch goes...but philip gibbs is a good running back himself. So dont count them out just yet...

Beech played well all night long...Hendersonville prolly should've won this one, they shut down Beech's offense but gave up two tds to the fastest man in Tennessee Malcolm Sheffield on special teams. Great game nice job Beech

sawyer is not the best rb in the state, other than one drive that ended in your passing td, sawyer was shut down by Beech.

Last year Malcolm did not play a full season, not due to his quitting, or injury. Thats all i should say probably. But think about it and you'll figure it out. But yes Malcolm is a great offensive weapon. And yes he did win the 100m. And how many days did he show up for track practice. Like i think 3 the whole year. Shows how much of a natural athelete he really is.

Heard Beech killed em, but no specifics

Ok im not sure what you're trying to do...You're either trying to convince me that Coach Aric is a God for a football coach, or you're trying to convince me that Beech stinks. Well i will tell you this, we will not be good this year. Like i said before we're not the best team around, so why is a lost to DA anything to write about??? Yes Beech has a new coach, from Creekwood. From what i've heard from the players they like him.

So im a gutless coward huh? Alright thats fine, but fact is that after the 8-2 2002 (not 2001) season, what was there? 3-7, 1-9 records. Nothin worth noting of, after the senior class left that year, it showed that Coach Aric's "style" just doesnt cut it. And the remarks about me putting down Cale Rice. I never said he wasnt a hard working individual, you will never here me say that any player on Beech's team is not hard working. But the fact of the matter is, the boy couldnt play. In fact one of the coachs on the team, in a discussion we had said that they were gonna take Rice out but Stilgenbauer was hurt the entire year so they had to leave him in. But thats besides the point, the point is that coach Aric in my personal opinion is not a great coach, and that no matter how hard Cale Rice worked he still was not a good QB.

Its that time again, with everybody wondering is it gonna be the Good Beech or the bad Beech this year. From what i've heard with the departure of Cale Rice (QB)and Coach Aric, the bucs are already better than they were when that duo was there. If Malcolm Sheffield can play the full season, him and Phillip Gibbs should be able to keep Beech in games.

Beech opens up against the big rival Hendersonville. I think that is the dumbest scheduling ever but hey whatever. first off timdp nice to see ya again. B-ball season was a trip, hopefully football will be the same. Im not gonna try and hide it, i am a beech student, i know nothing about your region since we are new to it. Or class 4A for that matter. So i will talk about Beech as much i can and thats about all i can contribute. With the departure of Coach Aric, and the incredibly bad QB Cale Rice, the Bucs actually have a better shot at winning that in itself. They didnt lose much in the graduating class also. But the D must get better, they would walk to Bucs down the field all night long, no matter who it was. If the defense can actually hold somebody, the offense led by one of the fastest men in Tennessee, Malcolm Sheffield and his counterpart at RB Philip Gibbs, might actually be able to outscore somebody. Overall its gonna be a tossup with beech, they could win 2 or win 8, who knows?

Alright we got a 5A vote, a 4A vote, and my 3A vote who knows whose right...I thought i heard 3A, but that was a while ago...Coach t says 5A still, so nvm that...Coulda sworn we moved down. Oh well, fact remains the D better get better or we have no shot at all. -Fletch

A new division for the Beech bucs so i have no clue whose who among 3A...But i can tell you this, Beech's defense should be about the same as last year. A few stops here and there but nothing dominate, the offense with the departure of Coach Aric has much more potential to flourish. And the departure of Cale Rice, the horendous QB should also help. And me saying horendous is not mean if thats what somebody is thinking, afterall one of the coach's said that exact word to me. Overall i give Beech 3-7. But we'll have to wait and see, until next time my friends. -Fletch

great season finished with a championship good job girls.

Hillsboro 77 Beech 73. This game was a great game no matter what side you were on. Back and forth the entire way. But i would like to point out some things. One Eric Sampson, kudos for making 4 free throws to send the games into both the OTs. The refs- Now i know it sounds like im blaming the refs for the loss, im not the refs did decent on calling fouls, it was the little stuff that they wouldnt call. For instance, some shooting fouls werent called shooting fouls, some fouls that werent shooting were called shooting. #3 for Hillsboro traveled almost everytime he started to move, never called. Now there were certain fouls that shouldnt have been called and some that should've been. But the reason i think beech loss was personel loss in the OTs. Kendall Dunn, Adam Thompson, Rex Chamberlein, and Ben Crocker all fouled out. All but Rex by the end of the first OT. Not to mention Jonathan Shaw hurting his leg which took him out for the majority of the 2nd OT. Is that the total reason for the loss, maybe i dont know. But the fact is, is that the bucs played with their heart the entire game. When some guys went down the bench guys stepped up. Ben Wheeler hit some clutch threes to keep them in it. All in all the season was a great season, obviously we wanted it all, but i just like the 30 something other students that stayed around for about an hour to give the team a clapping ovation as they came out of the locker room, are proud of this team and what they have done. Great season guys, thanks.

Dub Cee should win but you cant count out Whites Creek who beat Hunters lane and Franklin if im not mistaken.
