Surely Hanley will be front runner but with the run game picking up some of the work load will dampen his stats. I’d say it’s based more on stats surely the size wouldn’t matter but he does have the frame to go to next level over Plemons if they base that for Mr Football instead being the best lineman in single A. Doubt Greenback will have a lineman get nominated this year hard to get the stats like they had last year bc they played more complete games with their schedule having better competition .

Coalfield never been known for their sportsmanship from the players or fans. I believe it was 08 homecoming GB beat them pretty good and by the 4th qtr their fans were chanting Oneida. I never understood that one . Getting spanked by a team and start chanting for another school to beat them during the game.

I think CAK is better than last year and Greenback needs to improve at many positions and especially need to see the defense improve on tackling. But with that said i know Drew plays qb for Loudon but i dont think Greenback will see a running back as good as him rest of the season. Where GB is missing Gilbert the most is on defense and at fullback. Gb has good enough running backs but not somebody that can clear a way for them and make open field blocks like Gilbert could. Would like to see #24 get more touches and keep working on his pad level bc he can be a load to tackle from what i seen friday.

Coach Bradley might wanna re-think about scheduling Alcoa first game of the year. Unless it’s played at Grace with their referees

i think loudon will be surprised with how well greenbacks offense will do without gilbert. Too much speed at wr for loudon to handle. Coach Harig wont be able to sleep this week trying to game plan his defense to match up on a wr with size and talent that willis has.

Id say we will hear some pads pop at this one, always a physical game. I bet if you ask the qb from wb this morning he wouldnt say gb was soft especially after 55 folded him up on first play, that kid was everywhere. I agree pass defense has room to get better but take away the two pass plays that shouldnt have been completed and the pass interferences wb doesnt have 40 yards of offense with the 11 minutes of possession that they had. GB 3tds over Loudon or more if they shut down loudons qb on the ground. I expect the defensive ends to have a big game and Hanley racking up the tackles on the read option.

Raulston is a tank that will have the workload and stats to win the award if he stays healthy.
