I have seen both teams play this year. Covington has been faster than everybody except for trezevant. Liberty has been WAY faster than everybody. Liberty is convincingly the fastest team in the state

Liberty wins by at least 2 td's. Theyre too fast for covingtons slow Defense.

Covingtons Middle Line Backers are slow and try too hard to avoid contact. covington wont be physical enough in this one.

I just dont see Covington matching up with Liberty. Their linemen are too small. Especially #54 that guy looks like a 7th grade linebacker if that big.

Covington has a great game plan going into this game as they do every week. This is one of the best coaching staffs in the state. Hats off to wheeler and his guys.

Covington is very well coached on all sides of the ball. Their defense swarms to the ball and offense will hit you in the mouth. Covington 42 -7

Man Covington is a good team. I might even go out on a limb and say a GREAT team in the second half, If they could come out like they did against Brighton in the second half every quarter of every game they might not be beatable. The question is how will they react when someone comes out and hits them in the mouth right off the bat?

Not sure riverdale is as good as last year. They handled Brighton last year and struggled before pulling away late this year

Milan is good in the district. Covington is good. Dyersburg is good. The rest of the district isnt. And im sure if my team played yours right now you wouldnt stand a chance

And you single out number 60 saying he's lazy. Im not sure who he is but i saw him deliver one of the best hits ive ever seen on any level of football a few years ago in the Jamboree. I can sit here and argue with you all day about every single individual players flaws but all players have weaknesses. So if you think being lazy is starting sophmore junior and senior year, making it to the semifinals 1 year, and I'm pretty sure the past 2 years he was an all region lineman or at least got honorable mention. so if that is your definition of lazy and yeah he's lazy. but if you ask me that's pretty darn good. he's just like 54 and every other line man on Covingtons team. he has a disadvantage in size compared to everyone else but plays with the heart of a champion
