I'm not so sure Grundy County and "easily beat" some team should go together in the same sentence. Nothing has came easy for GC this year. Just MAYBE this is the one week, and one game where all of that changes however. All I know is that I will be pulling for yall good ole mountain folks!

I went back and read a few pages on here. I figured yall GC fans would know better than to count the chickens before the eggs hatch. Yall played a tough, hard fought game. Tough loss for you guys tonight!

14-0 SC, 16 yard TD pass to Davenport. On their last particular scoring drive SC methodically ran the ball down our throats. 3 yards here, 7 yards there, another 2 yards on 3rd down, pick up 6 on 1st down and so on.

SCs #29 Sanders just got an interception. He picked it off at SCs own 45 yard line. This game could turn quick if SC drives down the field and puts another 7 points on the score board.

Well, DCs DL just broke. We just gave up a 59 yard TD run to SCs Adam Pickett. 7-0 SC, 8:27 left in the 2nd.

Poss just missed a 34 yard FG. It looked good but hit the upright. 10:42 left in the 2nd qt, tied at 0-0 still. DCs run defense has been very questionable all season long. We have gave up a lot of rushing yards per game, along with a ton of explosive, long individual rushes. However, tonight DCs DL has held their on so far, and SC isn't having much luck running the ball.

Defense has been the name of the game thus far. Both teams have been able to move the ball just a little bit, but ultimately every drive has stalled out. 4:13 left in the first, tied 0-0.

I'm going to say MC takes this one. Jennings won't be playing and MC has seemingly played tougher competition thus far. They handled SC with a lot more ease than we did, plus they have home field advantage. I'll say MC 38-24.

Every team has a down year. I don't think you'll ever see them truly going back to the Upperman of the old aslong as their coach is there.

Thanks, we had to overcome a lot, but we managed to get it done. Great leadership on this team. Someone posted in another thread that Jennings tore his ACL.

If true, that is absolutely awful. May God bless him with a speedy recovery.

Is there a scenario where any team could be in the top 4 with only two district wins? I don't feel like taking the time to look back at past seasons records, or just do my home work and figure it out myself.

Tough loss fellers. I was pulling for yall! Must've been real rough blowing a 13 point lead with like 5 mins to go in the 4th. Keep your heads up.I truly believe yall are going to end up upsetting someone in the district this season. York is likely yalls best chance. If I'm not mistaken 2 district wins will get yall into the playoffs as well, please correct me if I'm wrong however. If yall don't lose much to graduation this year, then yall will definitely make some noise next season.

Great game last night SC. I never thought I'd see the day that DC would win 3 in a row vs. the Owls.

Macon could very easily win against us even with Jennings at full strength. They put it on us last year. The year before we put it on them though, so maybe it's our turn to blow them out once again. MC definitely isn't a push over. This should be a very good, close game if everyone is healthy.

Who you got winning that game, assuming Jennings is healthy and at full strength?

Any word on his injury? I pray it's nothing major like a tear. I would hate to see his scholarship to Ole Miss get pulled.
