Upperman mopped the floors with 1A Monterey!

Having 58 juniors and seniors doesn't matter a bit if 52 of them couldn't play dead in a western. As for the Upperman game thats what I call a trap game. Which is the same for the LA game except CHS will probably not let down two weeks in a row. So if they come out and beat LA by 28 it doesn't mean anything when comparing LA and Upperman. I would imagine that CHS probably overlooked Upperman. Not the coaches but the players. Sometimes it takes a close one like that to wake up 16 and 17 year olds. I will almost guarantee that CHS shows up Friday with their game face on. In each of these games CHS has little to gain and a lot to lose. These games are really about the gates with the new regions. The TSSAA screwed most upper Cumberland teams with the realignments. These games are likely on the schedule for financial reasons. They should still be fun to watch and talk about but they really mean nothing. That being said I say CHS by 21 minimum. By the way... when was the last time CHS and LA played? 92?? Serious question.

LA is back in a real district now. No more playing against the Upper Cumberland schedule. Historically that hasn't been good for LA (with the exception of 2005) but they have the athletes to compete in this district. They will have to play great football week after week. If they don't they will be in for a long year.

Anyone know the series record between these two? I know they were in the same region in the mid 90's and Loudon whooped up on LA pretty good then. Not that it matters tonight. I am just curious.

I was just giving you a little shot. It's nothing personal. Just an old fashion rivalry. Sorry you were offended. Personal attacks and insults aside.... there is nothing classless about a 23 point victory. Especially in a York and LA game.

He said he didn't know many coaches that would pull their starters at 42 - 19... You said if he pulled them at 42 - 19 then where did his 7th TD come from... I said you can do math which is surprising. Not attacking you just stating an opinion.

There's that York Institute math for ya.... Good for you!! Nice use of the state's tax dollars. Surprises me that they can add much less multiply.

Those numbers are incorrect... LA has way more than 880 students. I don't know how but those numbers are incorrect.

Typical.... I'm fairly certain that the York coaches probably talked about Linder all week as have every other coaching staff that has faced him. Give the kid some credit. He is just that much better than everyone else on the field. It's been that way all year.

This dude confuses everyone in the Upper Cumberland too... Don't pay too much attention to him or you will lose your mind!
