JP2 has more money and are backed by catholic churches so maybe they gave them more money. My question would be why would you want to play for a program that has won like 1 regional game in 3 years. Not sure how GP made it into 2A with their enrollment. Love the added competition but where it hurts is all of the most competitive teams are in Quads 1 and 2 consisting of Nashville area and everything East. They beat out each other like the SEC and winner usually takes state.

Yep because he alone won every game. Boyd understands as they lost a great RB too and they pressed on. We miss Will, NO DOUBT but it is a team sport. I am biased to GCA however it should be a great game and I think the winner will take state.

I would agree except FCS only played 1 game against a worthy opponent and lost. Next year when they play a real schedule with Wilson Central, BGA, Webb, and CPA then come back and chat. GCA and Boyd schedule tougher opponents, maybe that's why the power rating rates both way ahead. GCA scheduled a 5A, 4A, 3A, and South Pitt as out of district games. All of which won 50% or more of their games and made the playoffs, one of which won 3A state last year and has an opportunity to win again this this should they get past Alcoa. By the way GCA defense held CAK to their lowest scoring game all season. Did you know that CAK off line averages 270 and their offense is the highest rated passing in the state? The winner of the GCA - Boyd game will win state regardless of both teams losing their starting RB's.

Absolutely!! lol. We scrimmaged Maryville and Catholic, both very tough and Maryville is probably the most disciplined team I have ever seen.

Now that's a tough schedule!!!! Respect you even if only 2-3 of those get scheduled

Not ignorance but look at your schedule vs Boyd or GCA. Why not fill in 2-3 games with Jp2, Goodpasture or CPA. And yes I agree with class and taking starters out, but would rather add some bigger competition. GCA played 5A, 4A, and 3A schools who all made the playoffs, one of which won state last year in 3A and has a chance again this year if they get past Alcoa. As a matter of fact GCA defense held them to their lowest points scored this year. Maybe next year when you play Webb and BGA you can get a small taste.

To everyone for Boyd or GCA please pray for a safe trip and that both teams stay healthy. It is a heartbreaker for the players who are injured and not 100%.

Maybe they were talking about me......who is that guy? maybe one of the newbies that will be here for 3 years watching 100's of tackles for losses. Week to week you never know where he will be playing but i can promise you he will find the ball.

I have to say that the Maplewood fill in game was a great addition to your schedule. Bottomline is this is all in fun and should you guys win friday night we would cheer for you against FCS. Here is my reason, FCS is talking as if they are better than either one of us but their schedule is weak. Their one game against a worthy 1A Gordonsville they lost. If either of us played their schedule we would break all kinds of records
