Until someone eliminates Riverdale in the post season, I'm going with Riverdale. When they play at MTSU it's like a home game. They bus the students over to game during the week. Go Warriors!

I feel sorry for the kids that leave all their childhood friends behind and the kids who are at Riverdale who must get out of the way for transfers. Riverdale has a top notch program. I wonder how many of the transfers parents and players could pass a polygraph test if asked " did anyone from Riverdale ever mention to you about playing for Riverdale? "

The Hilltoppers have out scored DC 287-67 in the last 3 games. What should be done to keep this from happening again Tuesday night? Any ideas?

This ought to be interesting. The Hilltoppers haven't wanted to play Betsy the last couple of years. I'm going with Cyclones. Toppers will be tired from bus ride from Florida. Betsy is playing better than in Nov when they met. Plus it's at home for them. That's a 10 point advantage. SHHS can win this game but they will have to make foul shots to do it. Hope to be able to get up to this one. Happy New Years

When was the last time Riverdale lost to a team from TN at home? Before cell phones and Facebook I think. Congrats to Columbia. Congrats to Riverdale for such a run.

They play pressure defense that after 2 or 3 qtrs breaks down the other teams and they take control in the 4th. #33 hustles on every single play. Just found out this weekend that my grandfather was an electrician at the Oak Ridge Plant when it was built. Now I have a connection with Oak Ridge. Yea Wildcats! bandwagon proud

Was fortunate enough to see Oak Ridge play this past weekend in Cleveland Showcase vs DB Kingsport and SHHS johnson city. They play as hard and fast as anyone and have some people jumping out of them gym. If they are coming to a gym near you it's worth the price of admission. Merry Christmas

SH vs Cocke Co. at 2pm at Knox Farragut . Grainger Co. vs. Knox Farragut at. 5pm. Should be some good games.

Tuesday night at SH the Lady Cyclones will give the Toppers all they can handle. The Cyclones play as a team and it's a big game for them. This could be a war. Hilltoppers don't respond well when teams get physical. My pick is cyclones 45 SH 43. Hilltoppers lose it at foul line. Should be a great game! Both teams well coached and will be prepared. Hope to be able to travel that far Tuesday to watch.

#33 is going to win games this year for MoWest. She is a freshman and plays harder than most seniors. MoWest will always be in a game because the other players get energy from her. Really neat seeing a good kid these days.

SH shot 9 foul shots the entire game. MoWest coach had 1 timeout going into 4th qtr and he used it early. Could have used some when they made a run. Coach was given a tech in first half that didn't help his team. #33 for MoWest played entire JV game until she fouled out. If #33 is going to be a big part of varsity they might think about her minutes for JV. Great competitors like her use lots of energy and you can see was exhausted going against SH's pressure. If MoWest had won 55-37 would it be considered a blowout? Just my thoughts.
