Can't win em all. And playing at a District 2 school doesn't help either. But congrats to Unicoi on a great season. As for the guy saying English blew it for his team...eat a bag and choke on it. You have NO idea what kinda coach English is. He wants nothing but the best for his team and he's not afraid to show it. Like others said, .2 seconds isn't enough to get a shot off and English let the refs know what he thought. I don't know of any coach from this area who wouldn't have done what English did in that situation. If my coach just sat there after some bogus calls, I'd have second thoughts about playing for him. Coach English deserves a ton of credit for doing what he's done this season and past seasons. So, unless you actually know him or have played for him, I suggest you keep your mouth shut and show some respect. Again, congrats on a good season UC...White and Hardin will be missed, but they still have a good group of kids that will make next season even better. Good luck to South Greene as well.

Just learned of this tonight...congrats to Hampton. Hampton usually plays Unicoi pretty good. Good luck in the tourny.

Sullivan Central dropped to AA in 2002 I believe, from AAA...but they are moving back up to AAA next season.

If UC can beat the press, they will be in the ball game and have a good chance at taking it. UC hasn't seen to many good presses that I know of. (Not sure about the NC Tourney with Mt. Zion, didn't hear much about it). Like others said, they need to play the type of game they are capable and used to playing and then they will have a good chance. Good luck to Unicoi and Central.

if you think most of the people on here are mad because Central won, you are so wrong. The thing that keeps ###### people off is after you win, you still talk smack and put down other teams/communities. I know it's not the players, but the fans.

I'm willing to bet the camera man didn't get what actually started the fight...for all we know the 16 year old could have hit that woman in the face and then got jumped on...who knows. It makes both teams' fans look bad if you ask me. I've heard enough about the fight and seating...
