  1. Game day!....Let's get it on.....separate the men from the boys. The winner of this game wins State again.....just like for the last decade....so anybody else, will just be third place at this point. I'm picking CAK in an upset by 1 point!!!!!! I just bought more new riding boots for this game and another outfit....we must win!...I need to turn this pair into her "lucky" boots, or her lucky outfit so I don't have to buy more next year!!! This is a big deal lol:) Turnovers are only half as good as CAKe. Go Warriors!!
  2. ouch....has Alcoa or CAK won the state championship in each of those years since 2005?
  3. What is the head to head record of these two teams, playoffs included? I know CAK has only been around since 2001, but they were 1A for a few years. I've only been watching the last 4 years. I know we're behind, but we are also pretty much brand new. Doesn't the winner of this game always go on to win the state championship? .....for the last seven years or so?
  4. Alcoa is awesome....there is no doubt. It's a fun atomsophere over there too. IMHO it's great for high school football. I have to think these teams are in a different league albeit even if we're a bit hehind this year....but who knows, it's why they play the games.
  5. I'll be there next year too.....and it'll be a different story unless we get lucky this week and pull it off.
  6. uh....I'll be there again....um....Go Warriors?!...ya...GO WARRIORS!!!
  7. Fair enough, and I agree with you.... but I still do like CAK to win and build on what they accomplished last year. If they work hard enough and team play with enough aggressiveness, they could go all the way.
  8. I like CAK to go all the way this year....momentum is a great difference maker and this team not only wants to improve on last year's performance, but they know they are capable. Beware the sleeping giant: 1. CAK 2. Livingston Academy 3. Cannon Co 4. Macon Co 5. Elizabethon 6. Smith Co 7. Central Magnent 8. Dekalb 9. York 10.

  10. ouch ...I walked towards the door when we were down 28-14, recovered an onside punt, then proceeded to punt it back to them on fourth down in their territory.
  11. 7-6 cak after 1st.....now its 28-7 Alcoa at the half. Alcoa knocking us into next week causing like 3 turnovers deep in our territory
  12. o...hehe...what time?....7 or 7:30?
  13. Looks like it's a gonna be a galo$he$ night boys......great night for football though. I know rain might favor the run, but also may help the underdog. I'll take it! We have an outside chance if everything falls/fumbles right so it's definitely worth weathering a bit of less than perfect weather. Hope it's a great injury free game and a good time is had by all! Matthew 7:27
  14. I won't be hard to find either....just look for some long hair, long legs, and some pudding stained riding boots....I'll be the exhausted looking guy with a smile standing next to all that....
  15. Ontario but yes. DA. I'm not that french girl if the boots comment threw you off lol....I pre dated her by about a year.
  16. No...I'm one of the good ones and never surrendered;) ...but I had a good buddy named Alex who did! lol....SAVE BYYYYY!!!!....
  17. Since it won't go away.....I don't know who Upperman is either so I checked them out a bit here on CoachT. Admittedly....I don't know anything about them, but their numbers don't impress that much once you take a little deeper look. I don't see them playing past tomorrow night. I predict ND beats them. This is unscientific and at a quick glance, but their undefeated season so far has come against teams sporting a roughly 27 games below 500 record and only two (2) teams on their schedule had a winning record...with both of those being only 6 and 5. ....and the two playoff wins came against sub 500 teams also. We had a common opponent in Livingston and held them to 27 fewer points despite our record. Looks to me we've played alot of teams that would be "undefeated" with a schedule like that.
  18. As entertaining as it is at times...you really shouldn't have to defend excellence. For those that don't have it, your time would be better served figuring out how to attain it instead of attacking it...and that extends beyond any football field. Sometimes it just gets old....it seems too rare these days that anyone ever recognizes excellence. Alcoa's program has achieved excellence and should be studied...not mocked, ridiculed or otherwise taken away from. How are we going to win this game? Can we try to take away the run and make them win through the air? What about trying to play a possession game?....and I'm not above relying on divine intervention either...if that's what it's going to take.
  19. Blahahaha!!! ...boots and corndogs, sounds like a winner!
  20. I can't speak for everyone, but if I was dealing with knee high boots and Nanner puddin on a Friday night....I think I might just be interested in watching the game online and I'm pretty sure none of it would make it to the game....so.....in a nut shell.....I seriously doubt there will be Nanner puddin at the game Friday night. But........in that scenario.....there might be enough interest to broadcast the game?
  21. Pretty sure #2's going to run wild. Proud of what the team has done this year and hope this year makes this young team better for next. I'll be there to support them and hope it's not a blowout:)
  22. lol....fyi....even the ad at top of the page has Belk 15% off.....I think there's free shipping too. Every little bit helps thanks Coach T!!!!
  23. ....shopping for a new pair of boots;)
