Wow I can't believe they split the Williamson County schools ! Brentwood and Centennial vs Henry County should be interesting matchups !

32 Teams get into playoffs on the new format correct ? 4 from each region automatically qualify for the playoffs correct ? Not throwing equality out just wondering what the reasoning for 4 regions in the East. Didn't mean to make it complicated or inebriated !

If there is 4 in the East there will be 16 teams that will make the playoffs from the East which leaves 16 for Middle and West Tennessee. Doesn't seem equal across the board if Middle gets only 12 teams to make the playoffs. Does this make sense to everyone ?

Anyone out there know why there would be 4 Regions in East Tennessee and only 3 in Middle Tennessee. It is obvious why there is only 1 in the West but why 4 in the East ? # of teams ? mileage ?

You probably won't see the proposal for fear it might leak to the public before the vote on Thursday. I would assume several schools will have proposals to try to sway the vote to give their school the best chance at success with wins and gates !

I'm guessing they don't want to split with other wilco schools. $$$$$ from gates they will lose if they are not able to play each other.

Is anyone familiar with East Tennessee and how the Regions should look ?

Where does the new region breakdown put Henry County ? Montgomery and Dickson Co ? Montgomery and Sumner Co ? Montgomery and Davidson Co ? Montgomery and Williamson Co ? Shelby County ?

If East Tennessee were divided into 3 regions how would they be aligned ? If Middle Tennessee were divided into 4 regions how would they be aligned ? West is pretty much the 8 teams they have will be in one region.

White County to Columbia is a haul ! 113 mile 2 hour + trip. Sparta is in never never land huh !

So if you move Campbell County do you move them to 2 or 3 ? Not real familiar with the East. I compared past districts in the last 2 years and conglomerated them. It will be a real challenge to make this work. That's why I tried to see what I could come up with. Some teams will have to travel longer than they are used to. I figured 26 teams will comprise East Tennessee. West Tennessee basically has only one option therefore one region and Middle Tennessee will have 4 Regions. Other thoughts ?

This is based solely on mileage. There are a few ways this can be done but this is my take. Bristol/Jacksboro will have long trips no matter what White County seems to be in the middle of nowhere and will have long trips regardless Henry County is similar to White County but not as bad. The School Adm person is from Willamson County and still lives over there he doesn't even live in Dickson County. He wants the school system in Dickson county to be alined with those schools over there a big mistake in hiring this joker.??? Who are you referring to ? As I replied earlier....week 10 was open but...

I was told that DC wanted week 10 with Henry County because 3 was already filled. Henry didn't work it out. Might want to get your facts straight before you bash DC AGAIN ! As for the rivalry sounds like it was Henry Co. that didn't keep it alive.
