As in Demetric Johnson? That's unfortunate and not to bash the kid but several coaches I've talked to have in the past questioned the kids character as far as the next level goes. Not sure why. He is a baller in football but quitting is never a good sign. The knee issues sounds like a sorry excuse to me. Baseball team will keep winning just as they have last few years I'm sure. He is a good coach! He has done pretty well but he has jumped around alot. Most think he is a good upcoming coach, but he is still young. If that's the direction u guys go that's great. Just can't see him staying at a 1A school very long that's all. No offense but he played and has coached on much bigger stages 4A/5A/6A. Man if your AD has to reach out and hire a 25 year old that just got in trouble and resigned your program is in worst shape than I thought. Possibly I don't know how easy though. Is Red Bank in their district? Signal lost a good bit of guys last year and they were not very good last year. Maybe things have changed but they were not physical at all last year and that doesn't add up to success in 4A.
