It wasn't the price that bothered me, it was going up to pay a middle man to count beans instead of someone at the school. On my side of the fence I have always had two tickets which 90% of the time Miss Barney never wanted to go which is a wasted ticket for me. Other reasons for me is half the games one way or the other are on TV, by Diamond Clear Alcoa, Bearden and Heritage, School TV Stations Cleveland and William Blount and then you have NFHS if you really want to flip a coin on that one if it will come in or not. I've got to a point in my life I've lost a lot of interest because of a demand on my time, that's why you see me come to the games most of the time with 30 seconds before kickoff and watching at home on TV has made that much easier for me. Sometimes last year or two I've found myself going to a game or two I didn't want to go to but I went anyway like having to go to the funeral home to pay respect to an old friend plus I felt like I had to go because I had a paid for ticket in my hand. This year I'm sure I'll be at a lot of games I don't see on TV and maybe at other games that may be a better game than a one sided blowout because I won't be prisoner of a season ticket anymore. I also would much rather go to an away game any ole day because their more fun because everyone around you is someone new. That's actually one reason I wished there wasn't season tickets so home games would be fun as the away games.

I don't like to bet against a team I'm pulling for to win BC. If Alcoa goes there and wins I'll be happy. If Maryville gets by Oakland in the playoffs I'll be happier.

Just hope we don't go there looking forward and them boys start smelling those grilled hamburgers WB is famous for and get lazy.

Win or lose to Blackman I feel like that may earn Alcoa some respect going there to play that game.

That would be nice, when one team starts to dominate it really starts to hurt the game and people quit going when things are predictable. That's what 6 classifications have caused.

Alcoa loafed all during that game which let the dogs hang around and pull that one off. I know the refs may have helped a tad bit in that one but you put yourself in that position when you had the chance all game long to knock them out and you failed to do so.

By the way I hope I'm wrong about the Blackman game and Maryville going out in the 4th game against Oakland. The Alcoa and Maryville game has a lot to do with the front end of the Rebels schedule loaded down with Lollipops versus Alcoa having to take on Blackman and A-E before that matchup.

Yes, Will be a very good ballgame but it is away for Alcoa and Blackman will have a large crowd there and a bit of home advantage because of that. Alcoa will get banged up more than normal in a game like this and also has Austin-East the following Friday Night with one day less to prepare. This isn't the Pigskin Classic in Corbin, Kentucky. If it were at Alcoa I would give them the win but it's not.

Well the team that is number one on his list is definitely the right pick for that spot no matter what he has the rest picked at. Oakland seems to be able to reload no matter how many they lose and also able to get very talented transfers compared to other schools. Maryville is loaded skill wise but the jury is out regarding the line that didn't look up to par with the lines from the past last year.
