What could possibly go wrong sending your kids to an all out Woke Ran School.

Last week I let time slip by and didn't get a ticket to game one. I figured on setting somewhere else but as I was leaving the barber shop which had the game on and I noticed 15 minutes before the game the season ticket section was 30% full so I headed on to the game and you could lay down and watch the game there were so many empty seats. This was our neighbor William Blount which we finally got to play each other and may not again for a long time. Maybe some people take it for granted we would win but with so many options to do on a Friday Night most chose option 2. I was actually happy for WB when they made a dash later in the game and showed they aren't to bad of a football team and I was very impressed with their QB and his quick running ability. High school football doesn't draw the fans as it once did in my day because people have to many options on Friday Night and the Bru ha ha that happened in the stands between coaches and fans sure don't help. Maryville High does a good job of over extending their hand at the football games making some fans feel like Fred and Peanut. In a time where the product on the field at Maryville is slowly deteriorating Friday Night's Fiasco sure don't help. If you could take a bus load of rowdy fans from a UT game and sprinkled them amoung everyone at a Maryville Game I believe they would call in the National Guard.

Depends if the barber shop is open for tail gating if I go or not. I've actually enjoyed watching Heritage build their program from Scorched Earth to a 5-5 team while it seems Maryville is desperately doing their best to run everyone off. I wish they had Go Fan shoved up their tailends.

I totally agree with you but he wasn't actually yelling at the coaches to make them mad but to make them aware there was nobody deep and all WB had to do was kick it over their heads and it's a free ball and with only the endzone ahead. Things went from trying to be helpful to a big misunderstanding. Once it started the Deacons from Woke Methodist Church entered the stands to take over the situation only to make it worse. Last week our country went to the polls in numbers because they have had enough of this anti-common sense "WOKE" bullcrap. This crap festers in all of our public schools to a point a lot of parents home school their kids or send them to private schools to protect their children from being indoctrinated into this cult. Two weeks ago the great 'Woke Princess" told the kids they were not allowed to wear all black for the Alcoa game because it would be considered racist although Maryville's uniforms are mostly black. Can you wrap your head around that one, that's how bad things have gotten at Maryville.

Thie game has me worried. The last time we played they won the battle but lost the war. Through out history Maryville has been the type team that has gotten better as the year rolled on going into the playoffs but we have actually went backward for some reason. The Alcoa game and the first half of the Farragut game should tell anyone that. Lately you never know what your going to get or what team is going to show up. The on side kick situation Friday Night was something a football fanatic would have to possibly drive down to Sequoyah High School to see, not at Jim Renfro Field. When a fan has to yell from the stands warning the team and coaches what's going on don't get bent out of shape and send Barney Fife and Andy Taylor into the stands to interrogate your 12th man, he's just trying to help. Maryville won a lot of games over the years just being much smarter than the other teams and that part has slowly disappeared. Now we're the one's being made the fools out of even by William Blount on the onside kickoffs. We have the right kids no doubt and they work hard but some things are very obvious to anyone who watches them week in and week out, Running the same three plays against Alcoa reminded me of a fly trying to go out the window that died trying when the door was only two foot away.

I only read the one about Patty and the Taco Bell so far.

I think all the man wanted was to let the special teams coach know his couch was on fire.

When I was checking the scores I thought this was a baseball game coming across my phone.

Austin-East over Johnson County, Lenior City over Walker Valley, Rockwood over Cosby, Polk County over Happy Valley and Tellico Plains over South Greene were the obvious upsets of the night. The Tyner and Knox Catholic games were my stupidity.

The fan in the stand must of : (1) had a kid that wasn't getting to play (2) caught one of those shirts that was 2 sizes to small. (3) ate one of those hot dogs anyways after being warned. (4) First Amendment Rights was abused by MHS Gastapo.

33-7 last night with at least 5 upsets.

NG isn't to bad of a team, I seen them against Eagleton. Haven't seen Harriman, can't figure them out.

41-9 this week. We had a few upsets this week.

Heritage is capable of playing like this all the time and lost 2 they should have won. For a program that hasn't had but 2 other teams reach the .500 mark in 36 years you still have to be very happy in the direction the program is going. I watched last night and they played lights out.

It was very frustrating to sit and watch the last two games. If you want to win against good athletes you better not be afraid to go down low and be able to hit, not this silly arm tackeling bullcrap. That's how Farragut marched right down the field on that last drive.

This is a serious subject that needs to be dicussed regarding the whole defensive backfield play overall. It don't take a rocket scientist to figure out the weak link in the chain. Farragut figured it out real quick and went to town on us the first half. I watched one kid go right by their QB while he was looking for a receiver and had a chance to turn back and possibly disrupt the pass but chose to turn around and stand there like a deer looking at headlights and did nothing. That's honestly a big part of the reason we lost the Alcoa game. Nobody can tackle period. This isn't seven on seven we're playing. We haven't had a db that will knock some sense into a receiver since DJ Burks. Do we not teach tackeling anymore.

When I picked yesterday on Barney's Favorites I waited to the last minute on this one. Won't be so hard to pick next week. I'll have to wath the replay later to see how last night looked. WB has a great crew doing their games, something I wish Maryville would go to in stead of that crappy NFHS.

Thursday Night games 16-2

This was the absolute worse first half of football I have ever seen Maryville play against a much lesser opponet in 50 plus years. Nothing was working and you could tell the team was just not there overall. Totally a different team came out the second half with some big plays and you could tell the difference once they hit paydirt. Couldn't ask for a better second half to come from behind 0-21 and win 28-21. Honestly a win like it was played tonight may put the Alcoa game behind then and they can focus on the playoffs. Glad I went tonight.
