Scott, Catholic has what AC and Webb have. It's a great program with a rich history of success. It's a great job. Jones and Garland did a great job. Both coaches took teams to state. 3 appearances in 8 years.

Is Catholic going to turn into Grace from a few years ago? No one will play them for their perceived recruiting and skirting of rules. Just a question to ponder?

Garland was not asked to leave. He told me he left on his own. He has his reasons. He said he loves coaching. As he said in paper, it was time to go. I think he was being diplomatic and careful in his remarks.

They are referring to Meredith Bonee, the frosh RS at Catholic. She played real well. The article is poorly written and inaccurate with names and stats. Pam Bonee not coaching at Catholic. The CAK vs Catholic match at the state tourney was one of the best matches to watch in years. As close as it can get. Many thought that was the championship match.

Grace, of course, borrowed it from Catholic. Coach Jones started it and it has been wonderful. We get real officials to do it and feed them as well. It's a great night. We do it before the season starts and introduce the teams to everyone.

Catholic has an alumni match every year that is very successful. Alums play the JV and Varsity and everyone loves it. Usually get 10-12 Alums and all the parents come. Have a catered dinner and then play. Lots of trash talk. Good stuff. Catholic was the only team that does this but now Grace does it.
