Gordonsville can put on quite a show. Great fans and loud. Collinwood is absolutely the worst place to play. From heckling fans, players taunting the crowd, to scratching, biting, and punches to the groin by their players, it is a farce.

Isn't more palatable for a teams like Humboldt to foolishly believe they are the best team in 1A because a few idiotic media personalities vote them up? Why would you want a District 10 team like Nashville Christian, Jo Byrns, or Clarksville Academy to burst your bubble. Reality is for those who lack imagination. You my friend have an overabundance of imagination.

Although I disagree with my algorithm it predicts: Dresden (TN) 28, Union City (TN) 17 I hope it's an input error!

You must have us confused with another school, Nashville Christian doesn't recruit. Parents decide to send their kids there for the educational benefits. Ironically they seem to also be decent football players. The Lord works in mysterious ways! Thank you Jesus :-}

(1) Some Cloudland fans and apparently some AP voters are vaulting them into the top 3-5 teams. I'm not trying to disrespect the team or players. I believe they have done an awesome job rebuilding their program. It's the fans and media that are blowing sunshine up their ..uh, football pants that are doing a disservice here. I'm merely pointing out their 5-0 record is not what it appears. ".If I'm not mistaken,the team you insist is soooo good got demolished in the playoffs last season." (2) Yes Nashville Christian got shellacked by a GREAT Huntingdon team IN THE SEMI-FINALS, 35-7 to finish 11-3. NCS is not the best team in 1A at the moment. Probably 4th behind Greenback, Union City, Humboldt.

Cloudland plays one of the weakest schedules in recent memory. When it comes playoff time they will be crushed by a real opponent in the second round. Their opponents are 4-14! Their future opponents are 5-19! Gees, 1A football in East TN sux, with the obvious exception of Greenback. Cloudland is the Notre Dame of Class A. So OVERRATED!

You my friend need to look at the records of the teams SP has and will play. With the exception of Hixson, Polk, & Marion Co. the rest look like Sister Mary's School For The Athletically Challenged. I'd say the only time you set foot on a football field was during halftime as a member of a band. Judging from all the hot air you spew I'd bet you played a trumpet or similar instrument. I've shed blood. sweat, and tears playing football. I've forgotten more than you know about football Sir. Bless your heart.

If South Pitt beats Marion & Polk counties then they might be a contender. Otherwise their schedule is ridiculously easy!

The only decent team South Pitt played blew them out. South Pitt is a second round team. They play a weak schedule of cupcakes and don't improve. It's going to catch up with them.

The clock will be running the entire second half. 48 - 12. CC will score on the 3rd string NCS D twice in 4th Quarter. Be glad NCS has a merciful coach or it would be 70-0.
