The reign of South Pitt, Jo Byrns and Gordonsville in 1A is over. Stick a fork in em' their done. Even, Coalfield got smoked by 40 last week. The new kings of 1A in Tennessee is Clarksville Academy and Nashville Christian in District 10.

Lancaster's QB is an amazing passer. Nashville Christian scrimmaged Lancaster about two weeks ago and although NC thrashed them overall, he completed two long TD passes. NC is bringing the grill up to Cedar Hill in a few weeks and going to roast up Jo Byrns. What kind of sauce and wine goes best with smoked Red Devil?

I realize Knox Catholic is a bigger school but gees, it is hard to believe Coalfield couldn't make it more of a game. What was it 47-7? Yet, Nashville Christian plays on the road at a DII school and wins 28-11, with 3 TD's called back. Coafield is a fine team, but probably more like the 3rd or 4th best team in 1A.

Coalfield won't get their season ruined if and until they play Nashville Christian in the playoffs. NC has some incredible size, speed, and depth for a 1A school.

DII-A Franklin Road Academy (FRA) must be having some real problems with their football program. They backed out of a scrimmage against 1A- Nashville Christian School for fear of being embarrassed. Sure they have struggled since losing Coach Pack, but cowardly backing down from a pre-season scrimmage against a 1A school?
