  1. @jimmycrackedthatcorn with all these definitely statements about Clay Co., it seems the only thing that will keep them from Chatt is if their bus breaks down on the way. Ha
  2. Do the refs just like the Gordonsville chow chow on their hotdogs, or something?
  3. Well, it helps when the dark horse strolls to the starting gate, undefeated. Ha.
  4. I didn’t mean that it a bad way. I haven’t seen someone be such a fan of of a program that is 1.5hrs away. Ha. When you pick a horse, you stick with ‘em. Clay has won one of like the last 13 years, so this may be it. I think Gordonsville will win, especially as it is going to be down on East Main.
  5. Well, your prediction was about three posts later than what I thought.
  6. You’re right. Until they play, I guess only Jo Byrns could say as to whom seemed more talented, to them.
  7. Clay County may beat Gordonsville, but I don’t really know if I would make the conclusory statement that they are Definitely more talented. Gordonsville’s defense plays well, as a unit, and they have playmakers on offense that I wouldn’t sleep on. But, I barely have the qualified knowledge of football to post.
  8. When you are a 4A school, I would consider a loss to a 1A school “not good.” Better? It was meant as a comparison.
  9. They are not South Pitt? Upperman lost badly to the #2 team in 1A and they are ranked 7th in 4A.
  10. Gordonsville is apparently the 7th best team in 1A, according to the AP.
  11. The above is possibility #1. The other possibility, and we will call that #2 is as follows; Gordonsville has been here before, they are 7-1 and have beaten pretty good teams, held Coalfield to less than 70yds of total offense, in Coalfield, and their one loss was by four points to the #2, or whatever in 2A. They take their experiences of the year, take care of business against RBS and use the very extended time to prepare for the Clay County team. Good teams hate to lose, and I don’t think they will show up flat or nervous and definitely not scared of Clay County. But, possibility #1 is still, by definition, a possibility.
  12. Just priming the pump for y’all’s banter bash in a week and a half.
  13. TC won the game and I am not taking anything away from that. They are a good team. Now… shut Watertown up!
  14. True. But, everyone knew in was coming and then GVille put it in the end zone. Gville had a mental lapse fumbling near their own goal line and TC put it in. Entertaining game. Mental lapses are part of the game. That’s why they are played out and not determined by stat sheets and rosters.
  15. I think this game will benefit both going into the end of the regular season and playoffs.
  16. Gordonsville is pretty good. You know it is possible for Trousdale to lose and not “give it away.” Ha That is almost as bad as SC blaming the refs in a 42-7 loss. Good Game! Congrats, Trousdale.
  17. Gordonsville and Trousdale: 14-10 TC at half. Gordonsville should give Clay a good test.
  18. TC field goal blocked to end the half. 14-10 TC
  19. Or The winner of the game will shake the other team’s hands, like a team that has won a game before, does. Ha
  20. @jimmycrackedthatcorn Croz knows, but I think 4, total.
