Wow , just got home from the game. MC has a good team but they can win on their own . Refs really helped them out all they could , I think a TC player got called for sneezing and didn't say excuse me . Call ; personal foul , 15 yards. These Refs need to apply for a job with the SEC , they would fit right in with that group . Anyway with me getting that off my chest , I hope MC wins the state championship but they really can win this thing without any help . Oh one more thing , the three blind mice and their three blind helpers need to learn that an on side kick that goes eleven yards and not touched by the kicking team but kicking team falls on the ball , ball then belongs to the kicking team. That happen right in my line of sight . COULD NOT BELIEVE THAT ONE !!!! Score MC 25 TC 20 Ref's 16 .

#5 never touched the ball in the second half of the Whitewell game . He played some but had no carries .

Word is that Neal , Blackwell and Harrison will play a limited game . They thought Harrison might have a broken leg last week but turned out to be a bad ankle sprain . No word on Maynard .

I was one of the chosen frozen at the MTCS game . Coach played a three man D front and spread the DB's everywhere , pretty much saying you can run all you want but we will defend the pass and run they did . MTCS just couldn't keep up with TC's running game lead by Harper ( 277 rushing , 6 TD's ) . This week TC has to stop the run . MC at home with a great running back will be a tall order to fill . TC has a lot of good players out with injurys to stay in the game with MC . Blackwell , Lannom , Dallas , and last week Harrison went down. All out of the playoffs as far as I know . This is MC's game to lose and I hope I'm wrong but MC wins by at least ten or more .

I've never have seen so many yellow flags as I did tonight . I guess when a team gets a big goose egg they think it's time to take cheap shots . Two TC players out for the rest of the playoffs. Lannom has a broken ankle after a Whitwell player stepped on it after the whistle and Chase separated his shoulder after a cheap shot . Refs stopped the game with a little over thirty seconds to play and told the Whitwell players to get the heck off the field .

Will Whitwell bring a lot of fans ?

Going to have to do better with what we got . At least TC won't have to worry about playing in a lake this time .

I don't see anyway TC can beat the Green Wave this week . Even if Gallatin were 0 - 4 . TC is just beat up to bad to hang with a 5A school . I believe Zach Backwell has a concussion , someone asked him how many fingers he was holding up ( three ) and Zach said Tuesday . I'm hoping the team is healed up by the Gordonville's game , they can still make the playoffs .

TC needs this win without Harper . I heard he won't be back till the G'ville game if even then .

I talked to Kenyan Harper's grandfather and he said Kenyan was rehabbing very well . Saying Kenyan said he could be back as soon as the Dekalb Co. game . I told him when someone thinks they're ready to play alway's wait one more week . That's what they do in college . You don't want to push it but I know the young man want's to play as soon as possible . Who can blame him , though college should be his first concern .

Hope you're right on the 40 point win but I don't see it . I think TC in wins in a close hard fought game.

I think TC still gets into the playoffs . TC has good coaching , players who want to learn , players who know how to win and a great fan base . By the time playoffs are here I hope everyone's healthy .

Word is that Harper tore up his MCL . Film shows he was horse collared , something not called in high school football . He's more than likely out six to eight weeks , plus two or three other starters may be out . This will build depth if nothing else.

Hit the nail on the head with that statement . Also he went in for two plays , first time he tried to run the ball , second time he handed the ball off . If he has a pulled hamstring the coach is asking for trouble down the road , you don't play someone with that type of injury .

Wow , no knowledge of the game . Well let's start here , a coach comes up with what is called a game plan . If a key player gets hurt , ( let's say the QB ) the coach has to go to another plan . In this case it happened to be star player # 5 . Coach has to change things up a bit or a lot because his star can't be used . Get the picture ?

I think Harper would have given TC the win . He had 130 yards and one TD by the time he pulled his hamstring in the 2nd qt. He's a big difference maker for TC but it wasn't to be and MC took advantage and won the game . Congratulations MC !

Thought I'd keep quite till after the TC - MC game . MC pretty much tore up TC's D-line and by the way , the TC player that told me is one of the Mr. Football's you were talking about .

I spoke to Kenyan Harper's Grandfather , he said they think it's a pulled hamstring . If so, that could take four or more weeks to heal . If Harper played the whole game at 100% , he's good for at least two more TD's . MC played a good game and deserves the win .

Prayers sent for stingers family , I'm sad to hear this . I read this board a lot but don't reply much and he was one of my favorite writers . I was talking to a TC player yesterday and he told me the OL and DL need to improve greatly or there won't be a championship this season . Hope they come together before the season starts . Has anyone heard where Harper and Holder might be headed to college ? Just wondering .
