  1. Perhaps I was being a tad optimistic. But it won't bode well for them if they continue to struggle with scoring especially in these next three games. Frankly they haven't proven themselves to deserve the #2 spot in 4A and really need a strong finish this season if they want to go deep for a chance at the gold ball.
  2. Smith Co is a good 2A team but for Upperman's sake the game shouldn't be very close, otherwise they're going to have trouble in the playoffs. The defense can only get the Bees so far until the offense has to score. Caine's coaching style seems to be about being methodical and controlling the clock but with Upperman's low scoring output (no games over 35 points), any mistakes or turnovers will quickly see the U in a hole they can't crawl out of. Upperman should be dropping 49 on teams like Cumberland Co but they struggle to get going even against cupcakes. If they're gonna continue running the same offense they'll simply have to stay extremely disciplined and minimize turnovers for 4 quarters or they'll have an early exit in the playoffs. My prediction for this game is 35-14 Upperman, the Bees defense too much for the Owls but the U unable to put up more points on the scoreboard. Either way should be a good litmus test for both teams to see how they'll fare in the post season
  3. The Bees gave the warriors too many opportunities to score in the second half with the 2 or so fumbles and onside kick WC recovered. Definitely need more discipline on offense. Defense won the game slowing Pinion down to 84 yds and 1 td on the ground and forcing them to throw
  4. 21-0 Upperman at end of the first half
  5. The U is averaging 8.75 points allowed on defense and 24.75 points on offense. WC 20 points on D and 33.25 on O. Judging by that Upperman won't have much trouble scoring meanwhile Pinion is gonna struggle doing it all by himself. Once the defense keys in on the QB the show's over. Final prediction 21-14 Upperman
  6. The only thing that matters is a win. Doesn't matter if you score 50 if you still lose. Stone Memorial is only ranked #6 by the way, you're gonna have to do more than run forward if you're gonna beat #2
  7. Doesn't seem like if they're 2-2. The opponents for those two wins have a combined record of 1-7 and a loss against a Cookeville team who're scared to play the Bees. I'll just have to see it to believe it
  8. Hopefully people stop moving here so we won't get bumped up to 5A. Would like to see more matchups against Alcoa
  9. A single game doesn't mean a whole lot. Although I didn't see the game there could be a number of reasons they played poorly that are easily rectifiable. A 3-7 LA team almost beat the Bees in 2013 but they still went to the semifinals. Heck, LA won state in 2005 after going 5-5 in the regular season. I'd be more concerned if the pattern continued and they don't to improve each week. White Co would be a better indicator of the team's ability until we play Stone. If the D can't stop Pinion or score enough to stay ahead then yeah, they won't go very far.
  10. Both are considered being undisciplined. I don't know why you're being a big baby and getting all worked up over it.
  11. They should go deep in the playoffs, past the second round at least
  12. Them dad gum lettuce eaters I'll tell ya what. But I'd probably take em over booger eating leprechauns though
  13. I never pretend to be world beaters like some people in this thread. At least I can understand that there are more than one word that has the same meaning. PS, if you think fighting unconventional warfare with conventional tactics is a great idea, you're an idiot too. Look at what happened in Vietnam. 58,000 young men perished for nothing
  14. Oh I understood what you said(after I had to confirm you were, in fact, speaking English), but I'm not sure if you understood that those games in the past aren't relevant to this year. The only thing that is, is that those boys still remember that 55-7 loss, and are itching to return the favor. I'll save the rest of my smacktalk for next weeks thread we can't be having too much fun now.
  15. Here's the real problem: both those teams in the past aren't this team, and it's fairly irrelevant when talking about this year. First you gotta get past the squatch before you come and bump the U's record in the series to 2-1. That's what really matters.
  16. That's probably where all the fans were last night. There wasn't a lot of energy in the stands.
  17. Well why didn't you say so in the first place?! That clears things up
  18. I'm still not sure if you're trolling or what. I'm pretty confused right now
  19. I was expecting MC to win but not by that much. I tried to warn yall
  20. I could be wrong on my prediction, but I expect it to be a good game either way
  21. MCs offense can move the ball well enough when they get momentum. However their D line will get after it and will probably pressure your QB all night. The noseguard #75 apparently weighs in at 450 lbs, and he certainly is a big boy. He moves well for his weight too. I just see macons D causing problems for your offense all night.
