Im trying to see what he is insinuating about a young blk athlete...who committed to college, by saying he not going to attend class, just showing up for practice and games. You have an issue with Houston, you should take that up with them or send an email or get in your car, drive to the headquarters and tell...otherwise you just using the restroom in the wind my friend...why can't the TSSAA police Memphis? You seem to do a good job of that, maybe you should give them some pointers on how to get them thrown out this year. You seem to be the expert on Memphis basketball.

Houston beat Arlington by 20, and was up by as many as 26 last Friday night and beat Bartlett by 14-15 I think but not for sure on the score. Houston has some finesse guys, not super tough but they can really disrupt your offense because they are so long up front and off the bench as well. Lawson and Madlock give them toughness at the guard spot though so they not lacking in the backcourt. They have a 6'10, 6'8 and a 6'5 off the bench who can all give them minutes, the 6'10 hardly plays but could come into play in the post season. The game I watched, the 6'10 LSU guy didn't play (Arlington game) they say he's hurt and been hurt a few games but he actually to me slowed them down so that might be a bad thing for other teams because they add shooting to their line up in place of him. They just put the 6'7 6'8 guy at the 5 who likes to shoot the 3 in his place.

I'm going by what is on another site...tell your staff there to holla at that site because the score is wrong there. That's where I got it ...Halls game..Willie I'm not saying your team is bad..Im just saying..in my opinion...Bartlett schedule helps them because they have faced better comp. The 3 top 30 teams..1 is from the area..2 came from out of town to play in a classic. Sounds like you had a decent schedule but nevertheless, you haven't played anyone noteworthy that would be considered maybe even better than Arlington here.

Thats great..respect but again..Bartlett would easily beat Oak Ridge..question...who has Oak Ridge played? Did they lose to Halls? You gotta play somebody good at sometime...thats why I give edge to Bartlett...played 3 top 30 teams in the country, CBHS(now top 25 unapproved website) and Houston...oh and top 10 team in the state in Arlington. .SOS helps them

Bartlett plays hard, Coach Real goodcoach too..they lost to 2 teams that were ranked nationally at the time that weekend...Arlington has more talent but Bartlett the favorite in 14 right now but they down a starter but not sure how long

Their good but they will not cake walk it, they will be to big for most teams but they don't move the ball well, and get into a lil bit of 1 on 1 at times but make no mistake, they will be favored in most games here and going towards post season. They play Arlington Friday, Im interested in that game. They can play with them but them losing to Bartlett surprised me some.

I don't think SS can win but I just like seeing the better teams play..thats all...no harm no foul, I think it would be great but like my hair growing back on my bald head, that aint happening lol...

That houston team talented but not as good as yall think..that aint East from 3-4 yrs ago but they are long! Colbert real raw, not as good as I thought..I saw them against Collierville..

"Who is you people" Everyone doesn't cheat to win, you think that's what it takes to beat teams in Chattanooga and Knoxville? Memphis produces really good players and the reason you don't hear about East anymore, well that thing called Covid interrupted this year and they were decent last year, won 20 games but would have had a chance to go back to the state this year with the freshmen they brought in along with the guys the guys coming back. Do you really think that everyone state title that Memphis has won has been fraudulent? That's painting the whole area with a big brush don't you think? Memphis is policed harder to me because they don't want the area to win state titles...Memphis has dominated Triple A over the last 10-15 years in the state. I've been to the state tournament 10 years in a row, most teams from other areas have great records, 29-2, 33-1 but haven't played any comp, just beat up on each other and then when you play a decent team at the tournament that can match your talent and more, they lose. Play better teams, get out of the area and play games that you could lose to get better on the Triple A side. Seems a bit disingenuous to say everyone is cheating and kind of a lazy take but your entitled to that . UC Sports fan, why do you care about who Houston or East has? Your name mentions UC, that's not Triple A right? Why do you care? That's a lot of the problem, people worried about other teams who they don't even have to contend with. You think Triple A teams in Memphis are worried about your team or who you cheer for? Doubt it my guy. Boo Hunter played for Coach Lawson at Hamilton, a friend of mine and him are real cool. We have had convos and he said, Lawson is a pretty good coach. I can't speak to who you know but I can tell what someone else told me about him and he would know considering he played for him as well. I can tell you what I've seen and he's not bad coach at all, maybe not a guy you like but he's won 2 states and went undefeated, that's not easy and it wasn't just talent because if that's the case, Coach A the previous year had the same team with a lil more talent and as I mentioned, the White Station teams with all those d1, 1 state title to show for it with Patino so coaching is definitely a part of it. Did Ben win the state at Houston? You and I know that answer...Houston has pretty good talent, they were good before he got there, they didn't suck at all. Houston girls always been really competitive going back to the days of the 6'2 white girl that went to Arkansas, her first name is Sarah so they have never been without talent. Wooddale, you can say that about them adding the brothers but there were 5-6 players from the previous years on that team that won state that played for AJ the year before. Reason I know, I saw them get beat by 50 the previous year at Wooddale. Same kids, just different coach and 3 new guys who started, everyone else, previous Cardinals.

What's cheating? Because according to the TSSAA, no one has been found guilty of doing that in Memphis on the basketball side in quite a minute....

I disagree about Lawson, to the average Joe or a person who doesn't watch, you don't go undefeated at Hamilton and then come back and win a title with a school that has never won a state in anything in your first year coaching there (Wooddale). Lots of schools get players and they claim those schools have coaches who can coach but they never win or don't win to the level they should. They say Patino at White Station can coach but he has 1 title to show for it I think in 2009 and he had teams with 6-7 D1 players on them the last group being Chris Chiozza, Leron Black, Davell Roby, Curtis, Marvin Williams, Nych Smith and it was one more kid that went to SEMO that was 6'5..that's 7 d1 kids...the group before that may have been even better with Joe Jackson teams, so talent is great to have, very true but it alone doesn't always translate to wins or a title on the high school level. Mitchell had monster teams a few years back led by the late great Jerry Johnson but they didn't win and 1 team had Thad Young and 3 other d1 guys and a guy who could have been d1 but didn't have the grades. They didn't win... I'm with you on the complainers....I guess they think the TSSSA guys or board members or Childress read and say hey, you know what, such and such with the screen name, "ImASnitch" is right, let's investigate that matter and come up with new rules...talking here does nothing but make you look a lil salty because another team gets players or that coach gets players and your school or the school your son goes too can't beat them when it comes time to.
