I have seen eagleville an adamsville play this will be a great match up and i would love to see eagleville pull it off but i think adamsville has too much strength and size. The forrest game was intense, the rockets didn't play mistake free too many penalties and they never got clicking as a team that night. The only thing that kept them in the game that night is #4 who played his heart out. Adamsville running back and #17 receivedr are real good. The running back is awesome, the receiver is big he isn't fast just very tall so the QB just throws it up and he is there. If Eaglevill has someone with the height they will stop #17, because he is not fast just tall. Adamsville is a really good team and has some great weapons. The good thing is they have to come to Eagleville because the officiating staff that was on hand Friday night was the worst i had seen in years.

I am not for sure what the score will be but i know this is going to be a great played game. It seems that on paper these two teams are pretty even. But i think if the Forrest Rockets come out and play their game that they win. Ready to see a well played game. Go Rockets!!!!!!! As for Nan she is a great lady and her sister is also 1 in a million. I have to say Forrest Rockets have some great fans, that love to support this team even when they don't have a child on the field. Proud to be a Forrest Rocket....

REDRAGE talks alot of smack, it is good to be a fan of your team but don't get too sure of yourself. Everyone wants to think their team will win and that is great but you talk alot of crap. Forrest has more than just a kicker. And to keep saying the play calling is what lost it for Riverside is bull crap the better team won it actually should of been worse than what it ended up but great teams can have a bad night and that was one of Forrest worst games played. Adamsville may come out the winner but it will not be a blow out and actually my money is on Forrest because of their athletic kids, great coaching and their drive to never give up without a fight.

I guess that card guy is just so sure of himself that Adamsville is going to win. Well Forrest would love to play Eagleville one more time.

All the comments about Forrest, i know that some Adamsville people and coaches saw the game Friday night and i hope that is what they go off of. Because that was 1 of Forrest worst games played. Yes #9 is good but unfortunately that was his best game all year long. Forrest didn't show much of their strength FRiday night. And if you guys think that #9 is the main runner then you haven't paid close attention to Forrest all year. We have always been told we are small so our boys are used to that and we have been considered the underdog alot before, so we welcome the challenge. I don't think it is going to be a blow out for either team. But for the one that says Forrest relies on Defense that is not at all true we have a very strong defense but if you look at our offense we almost always put up 20 plus points. We have some athletic kids and some great leadership. #4, #11 do a great job leading this Forrest Rocket team and neither one are players to look over. Forrest also has a great coaching staff that is hungry.

The bottom line is two teams played hard an Forrest one. Everyone can pick the game apart but it is over an Forrest moves on. As far as Forrest we have been the underdogs before, so we welcome next weeks challenge. Go rockets!!!!

45 WAS A GOOD ATHLETE, BUT WE DID SWITCH #4 ON HIS SIDE AND THEY NEVER THREW THE BALL TO HIM WHEN WE PUT #4 ON HIM. I think that it was a good close game but as far as the first drive Riverside didn't stop anything our guy just didn't hang on to the ball, nothing to do with Riverside stopping us, I think it was just nerves. Forrest didn't play their best game but they got the job done. 45 and 3 is Riverside whole team and are great athletes. It seems because we are small that no one wants to ever give our guys credit we are a good ball team no matter what our size is and their our a couple of players that no one wants to admit that can play the game of football. On any given day a team can win or lose.

Looking forward to making the trip. so do we know for sure that #9 will not play in the next game? GO ROCKETS!!!!!!!!

Thank you for saying we never quit. Everyone talks about Riverside QB who is good and most of their team, but i will say Forrest QB can hang with the best of them with his legs and game knowledge, I don't think people consider Forrest team a contender nor do they give, #4, 11, 9 the credit they deserve and i don't think Forrest is a team that anyone can take lightly. Forrest Rockets have some great athletes and leadership with alot of heart and will give anyone a run for their money. It is a huge loss for #9 to be out but we have some younger guys that stepped up and can. We look forward to making the trip to Adamsville and Riverside had a great crowd and great team, it is nice to have a great game on the field as well as one with the fans.

It was a great game last night for both teams, Forrest came out slow which wasn't good but over all it was a good game to watch. Forrest played some great defense and on offense they passed when they needed too and ran when needed be. #3 an #45 on Riverside are to good players and if not seniors they will be a great asset to this team. #4,11,14 and #9 before he got ejected played their butts off and showed some great leadership. As i said before we may not be big but we fight till the end and are athletic. This year coaching staff is awesome!!!! Go Forrest and show Adamsville what you guys are made of. #9 keep your head held high. One quick question will #9 be out of next weeks game?

Does anyone have the update on Riverside QB? will he be playing tonight?

Not for sure why asking when is the last time Forrest won a playoff game on the road when we are home tonight? But i will say we only have lost once on the road this year and is was only by 3 points.

One final comment to the comment about Forrest before this year. If you have been around Forrest football for some years and actually knew the boys that where left on the team for this season you would of never counted them out. This group of boys that Forrest has this year has always been athletic and awesome football players. They have always been kinda small but they have always made people stop and look. Forrest is a good team all around and yes their running game is real good, but if i was a team i would definetly not count out the passing game because even though the quarterback is one of their main runners, when he is called on to pass it is usually on. He only has 2 interceptions on the year. so i look for Forrest to do a little of both, so i would not count out anything. One final comment to the comment about Forrest before this year. Forrest has about 12 seniors on the team as a whole. Forrest is not a huge team but their athletic ability and speed is great and they will play till the end. They are a very well coached football team. They will run as well as pass which ever is open.

Just a little confused by what little subs means, I can tell you all 4th quarter starters did not play. I must make a difference for you to look at the tape. You are correct in saying QB and Rb basically did come out last as far as 1st string. But my main point was the one player cornersville has is Stone and we shut him out because 1 player can't make a team. And the kicker did get a touchdown from the second string QB. I was trying to say that in order for them to win someone else is going to have to step up and help Stone so that they have a chance. He is s a good athlete but needs some help to pull this win off. I would love to see Marshall county win with all 3 schools.

Well the recap on the Forrest / Cornersville game is correct the score, and first string out most of game, and regarding the kicker/receiver catching a pass. Cornersville has a good player in Stone but it takes more than one player to make a team and Forrest shut him and them out.

The Forrest game was different however Forrest did score offensively before the 4th quarter. Fayetteville is very fast but had Forrest not turned the ball over twice down close to their end zone the game would of been a blow out. For Forrest to turn over the ball is very unusual. Fayetteville is very athletic team but not for sure how far they will go. I think they will be a team to watch for next year.

I will comment on this post, the Forrest Rockets can do both run and pass. And just to give a little more their defense is ranked 8th in the state. so i give it to the Forrest Rockets, they have some great talent and are very well coached.

My son played for Forrest and as he said #1 is Community's whole team. He is a natural athlete. An everyone above that said let everyone else brag is correct let #1 have his time. And just wanted to comment on something that was said previous about the blocks as far as forrest and the one parent stating her sons stats. I was at the Forrest game and unfortunately if her son got a sack it had to be on second string because the first string quarterback never got sacked. Just wanted to clear that up. But i also think on any given day a team can come out and when. Never take any game for granted.
