I laugh at most of the stuff you post because it's truly funny stuff to read. I don't have the gift of the one liner like you do. This is one you don't know much about, I would guess. Surely you can find another post to try to start a smack talk discussion with other than this one. This was a bunch of goons that have zero respect in the media stirring the pot. Your posts, that are trying to incite the GCA people, are laughable. You posted on the RoaneSports Facebook page and laughed about trying to stir the pot with GCA fans. What you don't realize is that you are showing your ignorance and immaturity and we are laughing at you, not with you. Drop the hate, dislike us all you want. Your 2 top players are making a deep playoff push with a top notch school. Get over it, and now we are again laughing at you. By the way, GCA is in Knoxville where we have several LEGITIMATE media outlets that request access to our press box. I researched those claims the day of the Rockwood game and found they were not true. We had several media outlets covering the game. Besides, we don't recognize a Facebook sports source as a media outlet. Your own county newspaper won't even say anything good about the Facebook guys.

Come on, I know you are seeing green, but the game that I watched, with some experience behind me, tells me that the game was never close or in jeopardy after the 7-7 tie was broken. SD was beat soundly in every facet of the game. You guys recovered your own onside kick coming out of the half, but still couldn't make a run. 74 yds total rushing, just over 100 yds passing. Over 450 yds total offense for GCA. The numbers don't lie. I'll be happy to continue this conversation on the Grace / Silverdale thread, if you would like. Otherwise, fly away Seahawk, we're on the Trousdale thread now.

Not sure about a number, but I know they don't walk around with their hands on their hips in the 4th qtr, and they've only had to play into the 4th in 4 games

More load on Harper or who do you see filling in for Burnley? Do you have any updates on what happened to the young man?

They're going to wear you out for saying that the SeaChickens were physical, but I agree with you. They must have been all jacked up on Mtn Dew or something. They were way more physical last night than any of the film of previous games. Rams need to step it up on defense. I know that sounds crazy to say that after giving up only 74 yds rushing, but...if you are content, you will get beat. Keep getting better Rams.

Has Coalfield played Midway since the famous Jimbo Godwin "wave" game back in the early 90's? I know that's a play he would like to have back. Jimbo was a great player and is now a great coach for Coach Basler on the MS team. Just wondering if you guys have crossed paths since that game?

Unfortunately, the players get punished because the program gets punished. We had a probation situation happen at GCA a couple of years ago. The kids had nothing to do with what happened, but were put on 2 year playoff ban. The players suffer along with students, teachers, parents, school and coaching staff. Good luck to Marion Co, I know it will be an uphill climb.

It's not about defending it. I'm sure the kid is there because he wanted to play or attend school there. I wasn't implying there was ANYTHING inappropriate about the situation. I'm sure he moved over 25 miles from his previous residence and was declared eligible to play. I have absolutely no problem with any of it, it wouldn't matter if I did have a problem. The point is you have been saying very bad things about the TSSAA and GCA about transfers, and the whole time you were playing a transfer.

I've seen this guy say some extremely bad things about GCA and the transfers that come into our school. And now, they are benefiting under the same rules that we play under and are as tight lipped as a largemouth in mid January.

I'm interested in hearing about the Hampton kid that really isn't a Hampton kid, but due to TSSAA rules, he's now allowed to be a Hampton kid.....

Oneida competed until the end. Congrats on a fine season and making it to the 2nd round. I met several fine folks from Oneida tonight, hope we treated them well. Kazam, I've been on this ride all year, and yes, Cole West is All State. It's just my opinion, which doesn't mean much, but #21 is the best player I've seen GCA face all year. I have a lot that I could say to the clown that continues his crusade, but I'll hold those thoughts. It's irrelevant, they won't play another game until August.
