EVERY FREAKING SPORT it is comical to me that anyone can share your opinion you know more than every coach and athletic director in public schools in Maury County. I have friends who coach and have coached in the area that know of kids that were recruited. I have friends with kids that were in middle school at a county school and were contacted to come to CA.

false and false, they most certainly have recruited multiple sports for years and the most certainly would not admit to it ever it would be beneath them to admit to anything

I am sure they are probably familiar with your cousin if he played at Central when they were making trips to Cookeville, they probably recruited him at one point.

Recruiting can make a difference

But you do recruit. I mean, maybe not YOU personally, but CA does recruit. Every sport every year. Crootin, its what you do.

I did't have an opportunity to message after work last night but it sounded like CA played a very good game and that hurts me to say. I was all in on Lewis County. My takeaways were, first, Lewis County has an awesome radio guy. Didn't hear who he was but I really felt like I was at the game as crazy as that sounds. He wasn't too biased and he sounded like he knew what was going on and he told every play so well it was like I could see what was happening. That is a great thing cause I have listend to so many people doing games and you couldnt half understand what was happening. Thank you guys for giving me the link. Next I had heard about the Webb kid and it sounded like he was not much of an impact except his one touchdown. Captain from Forrest made him sound like a stud, and it didnt sound so much like it. Last I could hear the crowd alot over the radio and it must have been a great atmosphere for football.

I am listening and I really like the broadcast. Does the guy do it by himself...he is pretty good.

Ok, so since ddaddy has made me an honorary Panther because of our common hate on CA, I have started reading some of this guy's stuff, he is pretty hard core hating on LC. pizza guy, you have been shot down on all of your arguments, just go away. LC has a great tradition. You sound like a bitter little kid that took your football and went home cause you didnt get picked. You didnt mention the Tennessean, but last I checked the statement covered media. Looked more like a generalization by saying Tennessean to me. Several posters shot back evidence to refute your argument in the Forrest vs Lewis Co thread, now you come to this one with different angles on the same, bitter, trolling argument.

I am not really for LC, I am just against anything CA, lol. The enemy of my enemy is my friend, at least this week. Seriously though, I know a couple of guys that are from LC and teach over here in Maury County. great people. Hope you guys absolutely crush CA. Of course, when you do, someone will be chirping that you guys shouldn't be playing them anyway.

Do they not teach sarcasm in Lewis County, or did you have to read to fast to catch it? My point, though you obviously missed it, is that in my experience with the water toters at CA is they are so quick to point out the way that CA protects young men and women from the "worldly vices" that are never seen or heard within their hallowed halls.

CA- A true beacon of academia, integrity, and morality. A haven for those searching for a wholesome educational and athletic environment. It is good to know that none of the undesirable elements that are found in public schools have not crept into the sanitary and pure confines off West 7th.

Factor in the increased attention/suspicion/allegations in the county concerning past practices by some coaches/boosters and you see the impact.

CA's district schedule is alot stronger??? Looks empty to me. And why is it the other District 10 teams won't schedule? Did something happen?

What does CA's district basketball schedule look like this year?

I know that CA has the NFHS or whatever pay-per stream of the game, but does anyone know if there is an audio or video stream (free) that will carry this game. I would like to listen at work Friday night if possible.

Delusional. I have been well educated in the practices of Columbia Academy sports over the last 50 years. Living in Maury Co. all my life, I can tell you right away if you believe this I need to sell you some property. Why do you think there was a push by the county schools to stop scheduling them in sports? Wasn't because of school colors or anything like that. I dont have a real horse in the race, just cant stand CA sympathizers saying stuff out the sides of there mouth that sounds more like it should be coming out of their back side. I have seen them play a couple of games, and they are pretty good. I wanted to get to see LC, so I watched some hudl, I think you need to give them some credit. They look to be a solid 2A team, and should win this game. What do I know, we dont play football in Cully. Cant wait for basketball season.

I highly doubt anyone will be interested in the Columbia Central job. I have written it before, there are too many problems there right now. The rumor has been a coach in the county will be getting the job, but I cannot see anyone familiar with it wanting it right now.
