I've only seen the Owls. They will be competitive because they are so well coached, athletic and I'm an optimist but I don't see them being better this year on Defense or Offense. Maybe the kicking game will be better.

I've got one thing to say, KICK THE DARN FG's this year when you are inside the 10 on 4th down. Owls would have had a 10-0 season last year if they took those 3 points all season long. Take the points! Take the points! haha

The sophomore QB looked explosive!

The Owls will be solid, lots of good players. The biggest challenge I see is there is no big play guy like #11 from last year. No super speedy dude that I'm aware of at this point.

If the family has the means (mostly transportation) to have their children attend a better school they do. Howard and Brainerd are normally the lowest academic performing schools in the County. I don't blame them, who wouldn't do the same.

All the 8 graders are decomitting from the Owls and headed to the Hurricanes. It is not going to stop hardship filings but it may shift them to another school

Great question. Are they or their children there? If they are not at the school then your comments are unfounded. You don't really know. You are making assumptions or hearing second hand. My son is there daily. my comments are first hand experiences. My son plays two sports and hasn't experienced any of this crap.

Therealtruth there are no more problems. But you can see why the haters are saying this because they win except in basketball of all things. The hardships are approved by the school board. The recruiting thing is funny, the facilities are old. The school is old.

Mac Bryan is the most positive coach my son has ever been around. My son has seen no hazing, no violence and loves the school, teachers and coaches. That is fact. He doesn't play basketball so I can't speak to it although that doesn't stop all the other exerts from speaking. Most of these comments come from people that are not involved with the school. I've heard second hand that football was rough culturally before Bryan. Not now. He kicked like 8 players off the team this year that didn't obey the rules. Great guy and coach.

You better cancel the tennis, golf, band too!!! while you are at it. So Stupid. Three people are responsible for this. Not the school board, not the Principal. Some of the seniors are still trying to earn scholarships. They have worked since they were young kids. Cancel their senior year because of something three criminals did

The Most ignorant comment I've heard. Cancel the men's sports. Now let's penalize the soccer, track and baseball team. How about we blame 3 people accountable for this and leave the the other 1800 students alone. My goodness!!!
