decent scrimmage-starters-fhs 4tds ohs 3tds fhs 1 to ohs 4 to 2nd teamers fhs 1 td ohs 1td fhs 1to ohs 1 to overall I say Farragut has the better team right now I would say that ohs has better coaching-so they may be the better team at the end of the season(especially if injuries happen to fhs-see oak ridge game last year) however some teams outplay coaching and several kids at fhs have put in extra work outside of fhs to get better-a real difference from previous years so we will see

Moles like I said I too have watched FHS football since the 70s. Not sure it has ever been a powerhouse in football but does traditionally have kids that go on and play at college. If you are around as much as you say - you no better than no talent and we must know each other . Their issue in football goes way past the kids- you should know - maybe alumni like you can help bring change. Btw I moved my kids to Farragut for the education NOT football. lol we shall see there rollnoles the talent you are right Farragut isn't fulton and they don't have Maryville's staff --very true but no talent??? my son is the lb mentioned above(thanks ornole) isn't al Wilson but is being recruited by UT,Georgia Tech,Missouri and Duke so maybe you should call Tommy Thigpen up on the hill and tell him there is no talent over there as he told my son Saturday in his office if their is talent we will find them whether a team is 0-10 or 15-0 and trust me we aren't lifelong fhs people I KNOW the football tradition/history at fhs

Farragut supporter here just don't hang around much(volquest more) . I can answer any questions in addition to what I posted on PAGE 1 fwiw I have a kid on the team so I have seen most practices over the last years -- I know their talent and the deal with coaches

actually this group of seniors is the group yall are thinking of--won city ship in 8th and conference ship in 9th--rising jrs won city in 8th but didn't do so well in 9th(but there are quality players in this age group ).should be a solid team and I believe they will be much better in this region also--all will depend on oline and quite frankly coaching Barney above is 100% on the money --I have watched this program get destroyed while sophmores(that can/could contribute)stand and watch it can be maddening fwiw I have them going 8-2 despite coaching

barney you are exactly right on playing younger kids in blow out win/losses - imo one of the major problems w/FHS football plus they really don't care about youth(8th) league teams, freshmen, or jv it is mind boggling not being a Farragut native because that IS how you build your program along with great /good development in practice through coaching again imo but FHS letting coach sweetland walk and go to Alcoa was a huge turn down for their program just have never been the same team I mean seriously how many varsity staffs don't even care about underclassman ----the current jrs won the city championship in 8th and conference championship as freshman(including beating MHS at MHS) and only 1 player got significant time as a sophomore ( #1-tb) and he didn't get that until injury and became KFL soph of year the student chants? I say when you are a loser that is how you act --apologies to all MHS folks and keep on makin east tn proud

yes he has had some symptoms we thought it was sinus problems cause he is a snot kid and yes he was 55 but they switched him to 45 cause they want him to play some tight end agree most are back but we have been without 10 (other lb) since west game-- which has hurt us cause he is really tough also been a tough season

sorry to disappoint stars but ole 45 is done for the season even if we somehow make the playoffs has had lingering concussion symptoms since before heritage hate it for him because this is the game he has looked forward to all year--the best and to play vs. transfers Jackson and rose(buddies of his) really tough break for team since he is leading tackler

agreed your coaches decided to squib it - so we started at the 40 almost every time 45--once that's a 60 yard drive -short? compared to your short 30 yd drive ? maybe but should have been 28-21? well then we should have 77 instead of 63 lol T Thomas housed 2 incredible runs that were called back on bs penalties I mean sympathy penalties but have it your way it was REALLY tight in the first half should of could of would of I get it

in the game? like yall outplayed MHS in the 2nd half? half your pts were on a short field and other than 1-2 plays FHS controlled los throughout and didn't mean you said fhs was bad just that I said earlier that we weren't as bad as record

govs91 I tried to tell you that Farragut was not as bad as their record , just a beast of a schedule and a ton of injuries. seriously -- maybe WB gave up but they are the inferior team . almost agree with last two posters except the hit was not in the back--we have had to watch over and over with the head coach and AD because of ejection rules. I will agree imo it was very dirty and has no place in football-but having said that ref that called the penalty and the tssaa regional guy both said if the hit wasn't so far behind the play it would have been legal. still chickencrap on my son acting/playing that way. Not something we are proud of and was not trying to thump my chest-just tryin to say he/they weren't scared just outclassed/played

91 this is a public forum there are players AND parents of players on this board. As you can see I don't post much BUT since my son plays for Farragut I decided to post. I can assure you and your friend that the better part of that team is not scared or intimidated-regardless of how it appears--actually just outclassed in the fulton game --but scared no. btw my son was ejected in that game for 2 "overaggressive" plays not normally what players do out of fear.

fair enough and with all due respect to the players at WB ---Farragut will be chomping at the bit to play them after one of there fans made claims to them being "scared" to play a game? good luck to the govs and their playoff quest
