Thank you for the concern and prayers. No school related issues, just a few families dealing with the real world issues. Now to football. Here's my honest take on this week's game. Offensively we're playing well right now. We are going to need to have an outstanding performance. No turnovers and positive a outcome on every possession. Defensively we're suspect. Everyone knows that. We've been more focused on complicated schemes than the technical skills of the players and it has shown. We'll need the Tide to make a few mistakes on O. This should be a war.

We're watching and reading. There are things going on with some of us outside the football world that put football in it's proper prospective. That's all I'm going to say about that.

Yeah, we've dropped the veer. It's boring. We're running the A11 offense now. Y'all should really work on your pass coverage defense this week.

We have a very good chance of advancing to semis, if we get 2 or 3 stops on D and don't put the ball on the ground on O. Those are the two keys of focus. Our offense is running well right now, so it should be a very good match up.

Another football coach search at UT. Can't keep men's basketball coaches. Replace the baseball coach. Women's basketball fallen way off. I'd say there is another problem at UT other than coaching. JMO.

Well, Quarter Final round has arrived. This is a rematch from earlier in the season. Doesn't matter when these two lock horns it's always a heated battle. My Tornadoes can't spot any points this go round. Should be a war.

Our boys are ready. They've studied Douglass, made adjustments, and have their game plan together. As someone alluded to on another thread , our "meat grinder" offense is ready to go.

We (UC) played Mitchell in '15 and '16. Can't recall scores, but we beat them handily. They run a spread type offense. Good athletes, big kids, but no discipline on the line. Their conditioning was lacking as well. If they have the same coach I wouldn't expect any different. Peabody has running clock second half.

No thread on TCA's first round game in the playoffs? Getting a whiff of rumors that their suspended players are back just in time for the playoffs.

End of regular season, throw the rankings out with last week's tuna. It's a series of 1 game seasons from here on. Any posters from Memphis know anything about Manassas?

I now feel safe naming R7 2A the "Black and Blue" region. Lots of beating up on each other.

I would like to see OC win this one. Should be a good match up. However, I believe the Lions have a slight advantage. Better speed and they've seen OC's offense for the last few years, only it was in purple and gold. Who ever wins it will be by 1 TD.

Homecoming week at UC. Thoughts? Tide folks have seen us both. Any insight?
