You think Sequatchie is that good next year? They got beat by Marion pretty good and they have everyone back. I would think year after next, from what I'm told anyways would be best chance at a run. Back to scheduling though the Boyd Bucs will likely be the best team in 2A in that area though so I can't see them beating them either. Signal will just reload. ND is loaded next year. I'm just keeping it real

Greenback lost a lot my friend but they will still be competitive. They have a good coach but they are short on talent after these last two years. Coalfield will be Pirates only block to get to Nashville unless a team from Middle TN surprises. East in 1A is weak my friend. I'm just keeping it real

TB Pearson in 2003 was best Buc I saw. Healy kid at QB was right there with him. If this kid was as good as those two then that's saying something. I'm just keeping it real

Your correct my friend but at the rate their dropping in numbers then add a few more lean years they could potentially get around high 2A numbers. I will talk some Chatt town fooseball with you Iggles! Here is my two cents! I think SM will take more and more kids and be the 4A school in that part of Chattanooga and Red Bank will turn into the smaller 2A powerhouse. I saw this same thing happen with Alcoa in the 90's. Granted they were never 4-5A but they were 3A before moving back down and they were pitiful for many years. They always had talent and athletes just nobody to put it all together. Obviously that changed in a hurry. Alcoa along Maryville BG in 90's (before George) were not very good. Great coaches go a long ways. I think Red Bank was hurt for the short term when Signal opened. I think that trend continues moving fwd to where SM is the bigger school on that side. I think Red Bank will never be 4A again and eventually settle into 2A over time. Even in 3A they could be dangerous in time. It starts and ends with great coaching. That alone brings in the talent. Never thought I would see the day Soddy Daisy and Hixson were better than Red Bank. I also think if a great coach ever has the brass to go to Central and bring discipline that school could churn out some squads. They always have talent but they seem to fizzle or leave. Tyner High could be a special place as well. Great part of the city there but until Turner hangs it up and a new coach comes in and cleans it up the families with more money will continue to send their kids elsewhere. Tyner is a inner city school in the middle of the suburbs. What's up with that? I'm just keeping it real

Get outta here! Nobody wants to waste money on sending their kids to a private school. Only 3 in area worth anything and they aren't cheap. Red Bank will be fine in a couple years when they move down to 2A. Just watch and see. I'm just keeping it real

Seen both post so I assume either are back officially after retiring on here? What's the real story? Odd they came back at same time huh? Didn't want to post on their thread. You my friend are right. SM and EH are the two premier schools in Chatt area IMO. I think EH probably has the better facilities and coaching though. I'm just keeping it real

Don't see Grider pulling that rabbit out of the hat. Have a feeling he waits on GA job. Atkins kid is a coach? Didn't know but I'm sure in time he will make a good one. Central is a diamond in the rough. Always has been. Just need someone to bring out the shine. I'm just keeping it real

Red Bank is becoming a dumpster fire. All the talent goes up the mountain to Signal. Looks like he is doing what's best for himself. Red Bank however can do better and will but it won't be anytime soon. Signal and Baylor has that area on lock. I'm just keeping it real

I understand my friend so therefore the problem isn't the coach if they aren't willing to go hire somebody that would attract families from the surrounding counties. Thanks for keeping it real

Isn't Signal considered Private? Fitzgerald would be ideal. Not sold on Price. Hasn't there been a lot of issues with illegal players, players getting in trouble with law etc while on his watch? I think Central needs a discipline type coach first and foremost. Bradshaw is the dark horse. I'm just keeping it real

Ok a mixed coach or a Spanish coach. My point was Grundy could use some diversity in their program. Isn't it obvious? I'm not trying to be mean. They always have alot of good kids but lack a few athletes to contend. I think they could do much more with what they have. Just seems you guys want change but nobody is willing to shake the tree enough to make it happen. I'm just keeping it real

Well said my friend. I can understand why. Tried to tell a few he was getting major cash to go to CC but a lot of you guys fans wasn't trying to hear it. Money talks. Can't blame him for going that path. Smartest thing a teacher or coach could do in TN especially one of his caliber. I'm just keeping it real.

Bigger doesn't mean better my friend. You guys beat teams all the time with bigger lines that are as good or better than yours. That's a compliment btw. UC line was just better. Size helps but they didn't dwarf you guys. They had a few that were more round than tall but they could play ball. You seem to think I'm slighting your team. I'm just telling you as a fan the game was lost up front and from a outsider building better strength would benefit you guys up front for the future. You will always have the skill players to be a major player in 1A. I'm just keeping it real Does anyone know if the Zeman kid from Marion has any offers from smaller schools? What about Austin Jackson from Boyd Buchanon? I have a friend at Notre Dame that thinks highly of Jackson.

Grundy County needs to go outside the box and bring in a Black coach and shake things up. Places like Grundy goes stale after keeping it in house for so long and going with familiar names. If Grundy had some athletes to go with all that size you guys have year in and out you could challenge in 3A. Until pieces get moved you will continue to spin your wheels. I'm just keeping it real
