You two love birds trying to double team me know? Kinfolks I don’t swing that way. I stand by both previous statements I made in season. Marion should have lost to Forrest this year due to coaching not due to talent and the last two years the Marion teams have had twice the athletes and talent as 21 team. The difference is these teams imo are that they come across as soft but that has more to do with the leadership up top than it does the talent and the kids. No I do not have a kid on Marion’s team. By all means you two can continue to dissect my comments down and argue amongst yourselves. No offense here but a Forrest fan would not know what good football looked like if it hit them in the face. I am just keeping it real.

What about the other Groves kid? Is he expected to play a bigger role next season? I think he was #13 or something if I remember correctly.

Dont do this kinfolk. You make your team look bad as a grown man speaking out on a kids behalf when you or anyone else truly knows this kid’s situation. If this cat had came to play for your school you wouldn’t speak a word about it and honestly he didn’t make much of a difference in games I watched. The difference in the Silver or the Gold Ball Friday night was #8. I am just keeping it real

No doubt the kid played his tail off and the defensive line. Good luck to that young man at the next level. He is a heck of a player.

ER should reload again. Marion or City is only teams that can come close to matching their skill level. Bledsoe and Forrest are two other teams that will both be tough up front. Hampton should be tough as usual but ER’s path back to Chatt is certainly there. Will be interesting to see if ER cleans up some of the discipline issues by next season. They should be a year older so some of that should subside. I am just keeping it real

Where all is Desmond Thomas looking at playing at the next level? Kid played his butt off and showed who the best RB on the field was. Funny I was ridiculed for saying if Isiah Groves went for 150 plus ER would win and so many chirped in saying he was going to do that win or lose and likely would get 250. Great performance by Riverside defense holding him under 120 yards. ER cost theirselves in the end on the last drive when it was 3rd and short with the chop block but most that have watched them were holding their breath because it has been a common theme all year. ER will have great chance to be back though. Congratulations again to Riverside! Great season but tell Coach Frost thought to keep his hat on next time on TV. I am just keeping it real

People only saw a glimpse of Wellington kid in 2nd half when they took training wheels off him he then showed glimpses of what they typically do with him until he got hurt again. Kid looked like Johnny football in Gordonsville game. Would have loved to witness Mase vs South Pitt or Moore vs South Pitt with both healthy teams. Those teams had more firepower offensively than McKenzie but neither had the defense to get their team a W when it mattered. McKenzie is building a program out West. Biggest question will be if they can stay down again next cycle. 1A has been good to Comer. South Pitt had an elite defense this year and it showed in the final. Neither the 1A & 2A games were pretty but both you guys and Riverside were able to hang your hat on your Defense and it won y’all another Championship. Btw #8 was a beast. Kudus to that kid. Heck of a game. Look fwd to watching you guys next season. Don’t sleep on region opponents next year though. Chatt Prep and Sale Creek both are liable to make some noise in playoffs. I am just keeping it real

Upset of the year in regards to the Championships. Houston made Oakland look very average after an awesome run. Oakland at times this year didn’t always play like they were capable. Not sure if complacency set in and they thought Houston would just lay down for them but it obviously didn’t happen. Again great year by Houston. Oakland will be back. Duane Morris revenge tour coming soon in 2024. I am just keeping it real

Upperman had a great year. Played PC as good as you could’ve hoped for. I know Uppermans fans don’t want to hear this but you were going to almost have to play the perfect game to beat PC. The difference in size and speed was glaring. Nothing to be ashamed of though. Heck of a year and I expect Caine to build off of this one. I am just keeping it real

Yeah the young RB this year and the Freshman both will be legit but was told they had no seniors next year. I don’t see a team without Seniors making it there but South Pitt will be South Pitt don’t get me wrong. Not impossible without Seniors but generally speaking it doesn’t happen often. I am just keeping it real

First of all you’re on the good stuff if you don’t think Marion had way more talent and skill this year than they did in 2021 when they ran 90’s style offense shoe to shoe and lost to an average Watertown team when they couldn’t score a single point. I have watched Marion a lot more than you have over the last several years and was at all the state games as well but I am not going to get in a pissing contest with a fan from Forrest. Fwiw though I would not be so quick to say Marion only has two kids. Had a freshman this year that will be a grown man next year. I do think Forrest has good size and good football players and could be considered a dark horse pick next season but Forrest can’t get out of their own way. I am just keeping it real
