  1. Anyone got any more info on him? Quite a few region teams play them this season.
  2. Could possibly be a long season for Cookeville in 6a play. Livingston will give them all they can handle next week.
  3. Very ugly basketball being played in Baxter this week. Two halftime leads blown due to missed foul shots and isolation basketball. Everyone looking for their own shot, nobody trying to create for someone else so most times it's 1 pass and shoot in the half court set. There has been some good flashes when we push the tempo and run the floor. Maybe we can get things turned around in Florida. Congrats Macon
  4. So i guess #55 with a super late hit on our qb and #63 kicking ppl in the head is good sportsmanship. The worst was some immature ND fans sneaking over to our side and holding up signs behind our play calls. Our stadium isn't the best, but at least we have visitors bleachers and somewhere on the sideline for the visiting team to stand instead of off the field. You would think with all that tuition money you could afford that. Go make another liquor run. You will need it when you run into the F5.
  5. I really got on here cause I wanted to know beside Orr, Enos, and the rb I think Banks, what other prospects does ND have? How would they compare offensively to a team like say Livingston or even a East Nashville team with a healthy Upton? I know defensively it will be the best team we've seen since Alcoa last year.
  6. True, but what happened in week 2 doesn't really matter at this point. That also doesn't excuse the fact you SC fans just want to pile on the U because we have the opportunity to play a quality opponent in the 2nd round of the playoffs while you guys sit at the house.
  7. You want some cheese with that whine? No matter what it won't be as bad as losing to Cannon Co.
  8. We wouldn't want them anyways. Show you how much heart they have in it. Front runners if you ask me. Not bashing the kids, but seen the same situation when I was in high school cause little Johnny was not gonna get to play the position he wanted to play. Let them come out next year and do something before you praise them any more.
  9. I wouldn't doubt it one bit. A lot was on the line tonight. Take the officials and cheap shots out and it was a great game. I thought both teams were even coming into it but it was like mirror images for the most part.
  10. Not trying to say the outcome would have been different, but that was the worst officiated game I've seen all year, and I've seen a lot of bad ones this year. We made some dumb personal fouls, don't get me wrong, but there was times when Dekalb should have got a few too, especially when #12, who was out of the game standing on the sidelines, took a cheap shot on our safety/qb when he was chasing Dekalb's quarterback out of bounds. Also, the official's calling the play dead right before the half on the interception was downright awful. You never blow a play dead like that. I don't understand how calls can be made like that and you still have your officiating license. Anyways, I don't want to sound like the officials completely controlled the game. Upperman had every opportunity to win the game but kept shooting themselved in the foot on other things besides personal fouls. Those were two young teams who really wanted this game bad and that might have contributed to the chippy play on both sides.
  11. #15 is a manchild. Can't imagine how good he will be as a senior. Don't know who else would have ran the ball for you guys tonight. #15 was gassed towards the end, but he was y'all's best chance to win. I know upperman fans were holding their breath afraid he was gonna break one to win the game. Definitely could have been a different game with your starter at rb. Maybe y'all need to talk to the Gordonsville coaches, they have kids running around down there with no anterior cruciate ligaments 'snicker'. Anyways Macon has a good young team just give them a little time. Good to see upperman respond to a little adversity.
  12. I know a few ppl that started a game, torn their acl, and finished the game, but never have I heard anyone starting and finishing a game with a torn acl. You can walk on it fine, but moving side to side and cutting is impossible, obviously, if you know anything about the anatomy of the knee. The question should be, even though I know you SC/Gordonsville ppl don't like discussing the officials cause they love you guys so much, how do you get 4 timeouts in one half of football?
  13. BRING HIM TO UPPERMAN!!! He's certainly a better coach than what they have, and he won't be trying to play his own kids for the next few years.
