  1. You had me curious so I just looked. They have 74 currently on the varsity roster. Will probably dwindle to mid 60s during summer workouts.
  2. May be down a little after graduating a large senior class but I think they’re right around the 65 mark. They had around 10 miss because of injury and probably 5 playing other sports. More than likely the reason it looked scarce lol
  3. It was against Clarksville Nortwest. Heard they had some good athletes, but weren’t very good overall
  4. I didn’t make it to the scrimmage but heard we handled them pretty good. Something like starters 35-0.
  5. Hendersonville has a TON of really impressive skill players. More than I can ever remember seeing from a Hville squad. However, they graduated the entire offensive and defensive lines last year and will have to rely on some younger players to play upfront on both sides. Could be some growing pains early on but could be a tough team down the road. They scrimmage in Clarksville on Thursday.
  6. Keep dreaming buddy! You ain’t getting transfers from Hendersonville/Beech. However, Station camp kids are likely if Gallatin becomes successful again
  7. I’m pretty sure I heard he is related to Trey Perry. Doubt he would leave if that’s the case
  8. If Bundy would’ve gotten a coordinator position, I guarantee you Williams would still have a job and Gallatin would be a much improved team all around. He is currently selling real estate by choice not because there weren’t other opportunities, he is a very qualified
  9. If I were a coach, I’d be licking my chops at this job.. I’m looking at the bigger picture. What can it be instead of where the program is now? Imo the potential is there to be a top program. People can say what they want but if the right guy gets in there, Gallatin will once again be a problem for most teams they play.
  10. If this season is any indicator, the next couple years will be some good ones for the Bucs. Crabtree always does a great job but has an influx of talent on the way.
  11. First off we finished second in the region behind MJ so get your facts straight buddy. Secondly, I would hardly call them beating us 28-13 a “spanking!” They were the better team and deserved to win. I said false because you said Oakland is superior in every way possible. MJ may not have Rutherford County “talent” but they will undoubtedly match Oakland up front on both sides of the ball. Oakland will have a tough time moving the ball. That defense is for real! I’m not saying anything bad about Oakland, obviously they are a fantastic team.. and MJ may not win this game but it won’t be the shellacking your framing it to be.
  12. I hope our kids are ready to fight!! Anything can happen in the playoffs
  13. Who should be on this list that isn’t? Seriously asking, as I’m not up to speed much with what’s out West this year?
  14. Freshman for Hendersonville named Ellis Ellis. Yes his first and last name are both Ellis lol. He is Currently starting in the defensive backfield and getting some offensive snaps for the varsity. Kid is special
  15. I think this is a very close game. Anytime you play great defense, you give yourself a chance. Honestly, this one can go either way imo. Early prediction solely off of big play ability. Blackman 17– MJ 14
  16. I think it will be a close game but the Commandos will prevail!! Prediction 31-21
  17. Both teams are coming off of losses to end the regular season.. who you got in this one and why??
  18. MJ is a very good football team! People can say what they want about the schedule but MJ is a top 5 6a program right now IMO. Good luck to the bears in the playoffs
  19. It will undoubtedly take Hendersonville’s best game to get the win tonight. Should be a hard fought battle and I’m looking forward to it!
  20. I’d say they’re doing everyone a favor. You give Hendersonville half of Beech’s students or Visa Versa and it’s all over buddy..
