Heritage may not have arrived just yet, but if a powerhouse like alcoa is circling them on the schedule they must be doing something right.

I'm sure there are at least a few kids from the county that plays for MHS or AHS. And I bet those are kids that could help the county schools be more competitive. Now, are they there illegally? Or paying tuition? I can't answer that, but it's tough to blame parents for sending them there. It's the county schools' responsibility to provide a better brand of football to get kids there.

And they got smoked by everyone else in the district. Russell only won 2 district games at heritage. His record was the same as Rewis. And Scott meadows did such a great job at catholic that he was able to take a HUGE pay raise to go coach at piegon forge.

Govs you may know a lot about your WB program, but you don't have a clue what you're talking about. You know absolutely nothing about the heritage program. I've been playing or watching heritage for the last 20 some years and I'll fill you in. First off, Russell was a terrible coach. He has destroyed every program he's been a head coach at. He ran off two very good coaches; one is the head coach at greenback, and the other is coaching at maryville now. The year he went 4-6, heritage moved to a new district, and had the easiest schedule in school history. They beat very bad karns, south Doyle, and lenior city teams. They also upset one of the worse catholic teams in the last 15 years. In their first three seasons, Russell and Rewis had identical records. Rewis went 2-8, 4-6, and 2-8 Russell went 4-6, 3-7, and 1-9.

I saw WB play loudon, they would have gotten blown out just as bad by south Doyle. There will be a lot of quality teams blown out by SD.

Heritage got blown out by the 10th ranked team in the state with one of the best athletes in the state. I think it'll be a good game, but I do think this is heritages year.

It feels good to have a running clock in the second half and be on the other end of the score board. We've got Seymour at home next week.

I have always wanted to see maryville, Fulton, or alcoa play a team like Hoover from AL or St. Thomas aquians from FL. Just to see how the best TN teams compete with other states.

My thinking is if heritage can find someway to contain Bruce then they might have a shot at it

I've heard good things about SD. Heritage has impressed me in their two scrimmages, one being the jamboree. So just trying to stay hopeful.

Heritage may have one of the best qbs in the area though.

Heritage has some better athletes this year and some more size. So I think that helps keep things close for awhile. But I hope they can pull out the upset.

I don't think it'll be a blowout. It's going to be a very tough game for heritage. I'm not ready to say heritage can win it. But I think they can keep it competitive
